The 40th match of the World cup 2011 will be played between defending champions Australia and Pakistan. The match will also feature both team trying to get the top spot in Table A.

The game will be held in Sri Lanka at Colombo. The only problem at this venue is that rain could be a big problem as we have seen before. There are chances of showers and we really hope the match does not get interrupted due to rain.

Umar Akmal from Pakistan who missed the last game due to injury will be back for this important game. Shoaib Akhtar will also be doubtful for this game and if he does not play, the Australians will be more than happy. Shahid Afridi who has had a great tournament with the ball is all ready to take on the defending champions.

On the other side, the Australians have been unbeatable in the tournament and are still playing like champions.

For Australia, John Hastings might play if the team decides to rest a quick bowler.
