Wiz Khalifa has now finally spoken about his recent arrest and the drug charges, and without any doubt today Wiz is certainly having a huge profile, thanks to the recent arrest issue and the blistering sales of his recent singles. Earlier last week he was arrested for drug possession, and as result he had to spend sometime in jail.
Indeed after all this happened to him, his life utterly changed and now is moving on the right path according to him. In a statement given to MTV he said “They want to try to scare you or make an example out of you before you get too far into what you’re doing. When I started doing what I was doing [in the music industry], I was ready for it. Just being from where I’m from, I was already a target on a small scale. But as I build up and become more nationally known, that scale just gets larger.”
He spoke about his drug charges, saying that he was not physically present on the spot when the police found the smell of cannabis emitting from his vehicle. He was later charged with drug possession and trafficking, for which he and his group was arrested. After his arrest it was thought that his image in the music society would be hampered but it rather boosted his fame into a new level.
