India is looking ahead to stand strong against the South African bowling attack, as opener Virender Sehwag exited early. Gambhir on the other side has stood firmly along with Rahul Dravid who is trying to stabilize India, and trying hard to win the test match. The South Africans took the field and were aggressive from the first over itself, and this was seen when Gautam Gambhir got his hand battered on the ball of Dale Steyn.

Once again Sehwag exited the game early, as he was caught behind by kissing an edge. 62 overs now remain and they will try to pull out all the nine wickets needed to win this match. However India is not going to give up this game and they will try to prove the world that they are world no.1.
One Twenty20 and an entire One Day series remains after the completion of this test match. India will surely need to shift gears in its One Day department, as the South Africans are well known for the performance in this form of the game. As of now India needs more than 250 runs to win, with just a little more than half a day left.

Virender Sehwag, India’s spearhead and explosive opening batsman, will be missing the South African one-dayers due to a shoulder injure that he has received. The Indian Cricket Board has said that Sehwag has been rested out for the remaining tour against South Africa because of his injury. The Indian batsman did play the two test against South Africa, where he was doing quite well with his health, it now that he that an injury has been discovered.

India is still in the series and has levelled the game 1-1, and the decider will be played this Sunday. It is apparent that Sehwag will be taking over the field on Sunday against South Africa, but his performance is under great doubt.
In the one day squad, Rohit Sharma will be taking Sehwag’s place, and he has really performed well in his previous appearances. It will be upto Rohit himself that he does not disappoint India in the limited overs game, for a loss here will be a stain in India’s career statistics just before the World Cup 2011.

Virender Sehwag, one of India’s key batsmen has scored a century against New Zealand on Wednesday. His century came at a very good time as India was on a streak of losing another game and exiting the One Day tri-series. India was at 170/4 when Sehwag scored the hundred. But soon Sehwag was out at 110.

Virender Sehwag has always been a key player for India, and is said to be the next reliable batsmen after the great Sachin Tendulkar. Yuvraj once again failed to fire during the match against the Kiwis, as he tried to play a pull shot and got caught out by the New Zealand wicket keeper.
India has to win this match on any condition if it wants to book a place in the finals of the tri series. India till now has not performed to its best in Sri Lanka, but we have to wait and see today’s match, if India can once more do a miracle and place itself in the finals. India are now trailing at 209/9, soon after Sehwag’s departure India collapsed subsequently.

Virender Sehwag is most likely to replace the current Indian cricket team captain M.S Dhoni after India’s pathetic performance in the West Indies for the ICC world cup.
Cricket is no doubt a religion in India and cricket fans take the game very seriously, and so the BCCI might appoint Virender Sehwag of the Indian cricket team for One day international matches as well as T20 games.

Dhoni captained the team for the world cup with poor batting choices and poor decisions that led to India’s exit from the world cup. Since India is the top team in Tests with the highest ICC rankings, M.S Dhoni is likely to stay captain in the Test format of the game.
M.S Dhoni made his situation worse when he blamed the Indian Premier League for it’s late night parties as the reason for India’s bad performance in the world cup. Even though his team, the Chennai Super Kings, won the IPL tournament, none of that form continued for India.
