A bangalore based firm, Hidden Reflex, has created India’s first multilingual browser, called the Epic Browser.
Internet in India is becoming very popular with people and is used on a very large scale in day to day public life.Thousands of people today are accessing internet in India and abroad for different purposes. But India is a multilingual country, with people speaking different languages in different parts of India.
But this has become a sad part that all the people in India, who are not educated in english, need to access the internet in the english language. It becomes hard for such people to even start understanding the system. Many people are still using the Internet Explorer 6, which in itself is an old browser.
But the Epic Browser, which has been created by Hidden Reflex, has become a boon for many Internet users in India. The browser’s main highlight is that it can support 12 Indian languages, which includes, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Telgu, etc. The developers of the browser state that it is the first browser, that has its own anti virus, and would scan automatically any of the downloads.
It has 1500 themes for the user to choose from, and an inbuilt flash player, that the user can use to watch videos. In all together it is a very good package browser and suitably built for the Indian users.
