Laguna Beach’s Lauren Conrad’s newest novel titled “Sweet Little Lies” has gone and landed a place at the top of the New York Times bestseller list.

Lauren’s first book L.A. Candy was about a girl who rises to fame as a reality star and had also topped the bestseller list, thereby displaying the star’s literary capabilities.

According to People, the reality star said: “It’s so gratifying for my second book to be so successful and it was so fun to write! The characters were already developed so I really enjoyed the process so much more this time around. All the characters have become like my friends now.”

Sweet Little Lies was launched only this month and the fact that it has gone ahead and become a bestseller is surely a great achievement for Lauren.

Audrina Patridge and singer Ryan Cabrera are reportedly an item – if reports are to be believed.

The Hills star and Cabrera, together attended R&B singer Ray-J’s birthday party at Wonderland nightclub on Wednesday night in Los Angeles. Sources say that it was quite obvious that something was going on between them and they seemed quite open about being together.

A source told People :”They never left each other’s side. They were flirting all night and sipping from each other’s drinks.”

The eye witness added: They wouldn’t pose for photos though which was weird because they totally came and left together.”

This 24 year old star hasn’t commented on her relationship with Ryan Cabrera, but there is no denying that the two look good together.

“The Hills” star Heidi Montag is the newest face to grace the cover of People magazine this week. The cover article reads “Addicted to Plastic Surgery,” where Heidi talks about her obsession with plastic surgery.

Heidi shocked everyone when she told the magazine that she underwent 10 surgeries in one day, on November 20 2009. What’s even more shocking is that this 23 year old reality star didn’t tell her own family about it.

She said: “For the past three years, I’ve thought about what to have done. I’m beyond obsessed.”

According to People, Heidi underwent a breast enlargement , a chin reduction and a nose surgery among other surgeries.

Heidi Montag added: “My ultimate dream is to be a pop star. I’m competing against the Britney Spearses of the world – and when she was in her prime, it was her sex appeal that sold. Obviously, looks matter; it’s a superficial industry.”

It seems that many celebs are heading towards splitsville as we are heading towards the end of 2009. We’ve seen many celebrity break-ups such as Reese-Jake, Uma-Arpad, Ivana-Rossano among others.

Now, a source has told People.com that Hills’ Stars Brody Jenner and Jayde Nicole have split.

Reports say that it looked like things weren’t well between the two when Jayde wrote this on her Twitter on December 18, “Sometimes when you truly love someone you have to let them go…I never really understood that quote until now.”

In yet another incident, the 23-year-old actress also hosted a party recently without Jade, at Manor nightclub in Chicago.
