Middle East unrest fear is gripping the entire globe, and this time we are speaking of Oman, where one person was reported to have died during the protests on a square in Sohar, the industrial city of Oman. It has been reported, the security forces in the country used force to retaliate against the unruly crowd.
One of the main reasons the protests are taking place in Oman is, the people are demanding a change in the cabinet, for they want the ministers to serve the office only on a four year term. In addition to that, they are also demanding a hike in their minimum wage pay and living standards.
There were 2000 protesters who had gathered at the square, and the police started to disperse them by using strong force, tear gas and even batons. Many were injured and one has been reported dead, here the matters seem to get worse by the day. As of now, no government property has been damaged by the protesters in the country.
