After the departure of Ellen DeGeneres as judge of American Idol, we here that the hot JLo aka actress Jennifer Lopez, is about to ink the deal of replacing Ellen DeGeneres.

Another Judge of American Idol, Kara DioGuardi, who just completed her second year on the show, is not under contract next year and FOX has not announced if she’ll return.

So the shown has gone back to its three judge module and the three judges will be Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson.

On Thursday, Ellen posted on her website.

“It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for.”

Former American Idol judge Paula Abdul reportedly has a new business deal in store for her.

The singer has been reportedly offered $1 million to make an appearance on Dancing with the Stars . There are also rumours that if she agrees to be part of Dancing with the Stars, then ABC may also allow her to become a judge on The X Factor – US.

According to a report on MSN.com: “She’s been wanting to make her mark on a network long term. She’s had reality shows and such, but she hasn’t had one place to develop the Paula brand. If ABC were to give her that chance, she’d probably do it, even if being on Dancing With the Stars was the trade-off.”

Paula, television is missing you and it’s time to make a comeback now.

Paula Abdul walked out of American Idol last year and it looks like this had an impact on another judge because Simon Cowell has now announced that he is leaving the famous TV talent show after this season.
The reason? He wants to focus on getting his UK show “The X Factor” to the US.

Cowell told People.com: “The X Factor will launch in 2011. Because of that, this will be my last season on American Idol.”

Cowell begun the show X Factor in the UK, and he will now become the executive producer and judge of the US version, which will be aired on FOX.

Simon said: “I’m thrilled that we have put a date on the launch of the U.S. version of The X Factor, and delighted to be continuing to work with FOX.We have a fantastic relationship, a great team and are all very excited about this.”

Paula Abdul seems to have started a trend of being the first reality show judge to leave a famous show such as “American Idol” and now it seems we have another celebrity following suit.

Now David Hasselhoff has announced that he will no longer be a judge on America’s Got Talent.

In an intervire with People magazine, the former Knight rider actor said that he’s proud that he was “part of making America’s Got Talent the No. 1 rated show for the past four summers.”

he plans on starting his own TV show although he didn’t say if it would be like America’s Got Talent or a music show. Looks like we just got to watch and wait for his show to be launched now.
