Veteran singer Sir Paul McCartney on Sunday, the 9th October tied the knot with his girlfriend Nancy Shevell in London. The wedding took place at Marylebone Town Hall and had waved the crowd before they had reached the McCartney residence.

This is the third wedding for McCartney and the second one for Shevell. The newly wedded couple had appeared in public after the wedding when Nancy was seen in an elegant white long sleeved wedding gown, while the groom was seen in a blue suit.

The outfits of the bride and the groom were designed by McCartney’s fashion designer, daughter Stella. The celebrities who had attended the wedding ceremony included, popular US TV host Barbara Walters and the only surviving Beatle Ringo Starr.

Shevell and McCartney had got engaged in the month of May 2011 and had got married at the same venue where McCartney had got married to his first wife Linda. Linda in the year 1998 had dies of breast cancer. The British singer had then got married to Heather Mill, which had lasted for just four years and had ended in a bad divorce. The wedding ceremony of McCartney and Shevell was performed by Alison Cathcart, who has performed wedding ceremonies for many of the celebrities including Sylvester Stallone.

English musician, singer and songwriter, Sir Paul McCartney is all set to tie the knot with his love Nancy Shevell. McCartney and the American model will be marrying this weekend at the singer’s farmhouse in Sussex, England.

Sources close to the couple have said that the wedding ceremony is going to be small, intimate, elegant and classic. The New York based model will later be hosting a party for her people in New York.

Close friends of the couple have said that the two are very excited to get married and have almost every thing in place for the wedding. The 69 year old singer had proposed the 51 year old former model in the month of April 2011 with an engagement ring that was worth $650,000.

This will be the third wedding for the former Beatle. McCartney was earlier married to Linda, who had died of cancer at the age of 56 in the year 1998. The two were married for 30 years and they had three children together. The second marriage was with Heather Mills in the year 2002, but unfortunately the marriage had ended in a divorce which had cost the singer a lot in the year 2008. McCarntney are dating since the year 2007.
