It has overall been a new phase that we have seen in the world of Cricket after the Pakistan match fixing scandal surfaced. The trio who are mainly involved in the match fixing scandal are being sent to London for further investigation. They have currently left their team squad to get along with the legal formalities.

The trio which include Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir have left for London for being questioned by the authorities. The International Cricket Board on the other hand has said that it will be taking very strict and stern action if the allegations kept forward by the leading newspaper of London proves to be true.
The Pakistan Cricket team has fallen into the pit of match fixing during the last test against England at the Lord’s. The news agencies have stated that Pakistan was involved in spot fixing during the test match. The newspaper has said that it has proof and a video footage of a man named Majeed, who was allegedly the main man behind booking the players, receiving loads of cash for the setup.

There is a new twist in the Pakistan match fixing scene, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has stated that it will not be suspending its players without any strong proof. The Pakistan Match Fixing scandal which was unearthed in the last test match with England at the Lord’s has shown that there has been spot fixing in the game too.

The British Police and the International Cricket Board in London have commenced their investigations into the matter. Three main players are into the suspect ring, Captain Salman Butt, and Bowlers, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir. The British police have confiscated the cellphones of these players.
In addition to the trio, wicket keeper Kamran Akmal too is being questioned by the investigators at his hotel. PCB Chairman, Ijaz Butt has said that it is only an allegation, and there is no proof or charge against his players, so he wont be taking any actions immediately.

It is now a shameful time for the cricketing world, and once more the shame comes from the old match fixing demon. Its been reported that there was alleged match fixing in the Pakistan Vs England test match in UK. This time the Pakistan cricket team has found itself under a mountain of controversy, and may be it is true.
The trouble has come up from the Lord’s Test, where the Britons beat the host by a massive 354 runs. But this time there is a new exposure in the terms of match fixing, ’spot fixing’ and this is what the Pakistani players are blamed for.

The Scotland investigators had come to know, that Pakistan was being involved in a match fixing scenario a month ago, between the 29th of July and the 1st of August. Some intelligence data shows that there was a match fixing activity going on within a match at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. One of the London’s newspapers quoted that, an informer has credible information of the match fixing with Pakistan.
The players who are cornered in the match fixing scandal are, pacers Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir, who are blamed for spot fixing in the Lord’s Test. The person behind the fixing is Mazhar Majeed, a bookie who had told the pacers to bowl deliberate no balls during the match.
