Pakistan Match Fixing Scandal: Veena Malik Provides Proof Of Mohammad Asif’s Corruption


Veena Malik has handed over solid proof of her ex-boyfriend, Mohammad Asif, who alleged connection with an Indian bookie to the ICC board’s Anti Corruption Unit. The Pakistan Cricket Board had said that it wont be taking any strong action against its players until these allegations are proved, and seems the Veena has done this job.

Mr. Hasan Raza who is the top official in the ICC’s Anti-corruption unit of South Asia had met Veena at her Lahore residence where she told him that her ex-boyfriend Mohammad Asif was involved in the match fixing and that she had loads of proof for this claim.

She disclosed one incident where she and Asif had gone to Bangkok before the Australian series where he told her that an Indian bookie had offered him $40000 to under perform, but then he demanded $200000. She said that the whole Pakistani team and the officials in it are involved somehow in the game of match fixing.

Pakistan Match Fixing Scandal: Trio Out Of Team Squad, Sent For Investigations


It has overall been a new phase that we have seen in the world of Cricket after the Pakistan match fixing scandal surfaced. The trio who are mainly involved in the match fixing scandal are being sent to London for further investigation. They have currently left their team squad to get along with the legal formalities.

The trio which include Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir have left for London for being questioned by the authorities. The International Cricket Board on the other hand has said that it will be taking very strict and stern action if the allegations kept forward by the leading newspaper of London proves to be true.

The Pakistan Cricket team has fallen into the pit of match fixing during the last test against England at the Lord’s. The news agencies have stated that Pakistan was involved in spot fixing during the test match. The newspaper has said that it has proof and a video footage of a man named Majeed, who was allegedly the main man behind booking the players, receiving loads of cash for the setup.
