President Hosni Mubarak’s speech at Tahiri Square in Cairo has not gone the way the protesters intended it go, and their anger and rage has escalated to another level. In the speech he stated, he will be delegating some of his powers, but he will personally stay in office and not quit. He later empowered Vice President Omar Suleiman with the designated powers, and finally ended his speech.

It was crystal clear the protesters did not want to hear this speech, rather they expected him to resign from his post. Every protester present during the speech was shaken up, and now their anger and determination to stand against the government was renewed.
More than half a month into the protests and demonstrations in the country, where the people have stood against the government and have asked the current President to resign, as they are looking ahead towards a reformation in the entire country. The Turkish Prime Minister has asked Hosni Mubarak to comply with the demands of the protesters in the country. Mubarak has been reigning over the nation for almost three decades and now the people of the country are agitating against his rule. Clashes are taking place in the country and there are several people who have been reported to be killed.

Fresh reports from Cairo also state, there were gunshots heard from different parts of the city. The Turkish PM has said, no government in the world can turn away from its people and stay strong, rather it will not survive any longer. He also added, there should be a change without any hesitation, violence will have no outcome.
It is quite noticeable that Turkey is one of the most stabilized and democratically concrete nation in the Middle East, and it does take pride in it. Unrest is spreading consistently through Egypt and there are fears that this will escalate to even a higher level. Since years the Middle East is known for its bloodshed and tears, this has to change if the region wants to altercate the world’s view towards them.

Israel has clearly shown its support to the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, and has asked the people to calm down and rethink into this matter. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said the situation in its neighbouring country is like an earthquake, and there are concerns growing in terms of the instability.

The PM also believes that Egypt has the capability to overcome this situation, but now they will need to look into the future. Israel has always kept a democratic relationship with the Egypt and Jordan, for these are the only two countries who it has signed treaties with. If Egypt is foreseeing a new regime, then there will be a massive change in its entire system.
Questions are also being raised over the peace between Israel and Egypt which both countries enjoy till date. The protests are asking for a new government and new a leader, but who can be the next worth President who could lead Egypt. Israel is a major country in the Middle East which plays the role of a stabilizer among the Arab Nations.
