The beautiful Miss South Africa 2009 – Tatum Keshwar has her eyes set on the Miss World 2009 crown.

The 24 year old beauty will be South Africa’s entry to the Miss World 2009 pageant which takes place on 12th December 2009.

Tatum took part in the Miss Universe pageant earlier this year and was one of the favorites at the pageant.

This Miss South Africa winner has got a degree in Psychology and her charming personality seems to be working in her favor as she is one of the top choices for the Miss World 2009 crown.

The organizers of the Miss England competition have declared Lance Corporal Katrina Hodge as the new Miss England 2009.

Katrina is a soldier in the British Army, has been given leave from her duties in order to participate in the Miss World Pageant in Johannesburg, South Africa on Saturday, 12th December, 2009.

The decision to select Katrina came after Rachel Christie stepped down of the Miss England due to an assault issue.

La Senza, who Katrina represented said,”Everyone at La Senza was delighted to work with Katrina Hodge as the Face of our Armed Forces campaign. Not only is she absolutely gorgeous but she is also an intelligent, inspiring young woman who does such an amazing job for her country. We all wish her the best of luck in Miss World.”

Rachel Christie was the first black woman to win the Miss England 2009 pageant and was also the top favorite to win the Miss World 2009 pageant. That came to an end when she got embroiled in a Nightclub dispute.

The 59th Miss World pageant will be take place on December 12, 2009 in Johannesburg, South Africa . The Miss World 2009 pageant will begin from London, England on 7th November 2009.

The very beautiful contestants will then take a trip to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on November 10, 2009, and after that they will go to Johannesburg, South Africa on November 15, 2009.

The current Miss World Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia will crown her the new miss world at the end of this event.

The much awaited event is expected to have approximately 120 beautiful women participating from all around the world.

November 24, 2009 at Durban – Miss World Beach Beauty Final

November 28, 2009 – Miss World Top Model Final
