Model Kanishtha Dhankar on Thursday won the title of Femina Miss India World 2011 at a mega event in Mumbai in India. The other winners of the pageant were Ankita Shorey, who was crowned as the Pantaloons Femina Miss India International 2011 and Hasleen Kaur, who was crowned as Pantaloons Femina Miss India Earth 2011.

Ankita Mohapatra was the lucky one to be chosen as the Bollywood Diva. Mohapatra will soon be seen starring in film maker Sajid Nadiadwala’s next Bollywood movie. The pageant was judged by the popular personalities from the showbiz like Dino Morea, Kangana Ranaut, Shiamak Davar, Urmila Matondkar, Fardeen Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Leander Paes, Tarun Mansukhani and Ritu Kumar.

Apart from the Indian beauties the stage was set ablaze by some spectacular performances by Sonakshi Sinha, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mallaika Arora Khan, Hard Kaur, Gaurav Kapoor, Sushant Singh, Harshad Chopra, Anushka Sharma and music band SQS.

Kanishtha is now the proud beauty, who will be representing India at the international pageant later this year. The Femina Miss India is a national beauty pageant held every year to select Indian beauties to represent the global pageant. The event is organized by Femina, which is a women’s magazine, published by the Bennet Coleman & Co. Ltd.
