US President Barack Obama’s wife Michelle Obama has been chosen as Barbara Walters’ most fascinating person of 2009.
Barbara Walters revealed that she chose the US first Lady as the Most Fascinating Person on December 9 on her annual ABC special.

Michelle’s husband Barack Obama was on the top of Barbara Walters’ list last year.
The first lady landed on the top of the list over music stars Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert, political girl Sarah Palin, Kate Gosselin; and Michael Jackson’s three children.
When asked about her free time, Michelle said: “My personal routine hasn’t changed much in the past 11 years. Some of that was, in all honesty, a little sort of revenge because I’m married to a man who’s worked out all his life. No matter how busy he is, he finds the time to work out.”
