Mariah Carey had a very different experience at the Palm Springs International Film Festival awards.

The “Butterfly” singer – who won Breakthrough Actress, walked to the podium with ‘Precious’ director Lee Daniels to collect her award.
She surprised everyone when she yelled “Oh my goodness!” when she reached the front and was heard saying “I love you” to Daniels’ once they exchanged pleasantaries.
Her thank you speech was equally hillarious: “I have to say…. this is …. and please forgive me because I’m a little bit…” Thats when many people yelled out “drunk,” to which Carey said”yes,” which surprisingly led to cheers all around. Guess it worked for Mariah.
She continued: “Oh my goodness,”………”Sometimes I get a little … you know … difficult”.
She then ended the speech by saying: “I’m very grateful. I thank you all for listening to my little spiel, and God bless you. OK, take care.”
The icing for the cake was when she started walking away form the podium – withiot her award.
