American actress Mariska Hargitay has recently adopted another child, six months after adopting her second child Amaya Josephine. In the month of April, the actress and her 44 year old husband Peter Hermann had adopted Amaya, after which they have adopted a son, Andrew Nicolas Hargitay.

This is the third child in the couple’s family, they also have a biological son, five year old August. Some of the close friends of the couple had revealed that Andrew Nicolas was a premature child born in the United States. There is just a few months difference between the age of Amaya and Andrew.

The 47 year old actress and her husband had already opened their heart after adopting their first daughter and then they could not imagine to let go the opportunity to bring home another baby. Peter and Hargitay had tied the knot in the year 2004.

In the year 2006, Hargitay and her husband were blessed with a baby boy, August. Mariska is currently thrilled due to the blessings and the great fortune. Friends of the couple had added that Mariska got more love then she had even imagined. The actress had said that she had never imagined that it would happen so quickly, but in their hearts they had known that it was right.
