Lindsay Lohan is reportedly in India busy working on documentary, and making every effort to to clean up her image.

The actress has been in India since Wednesday to film a documentary about the trafficking of women and children for the BBC channel.

She is known to have tweeted: “Over 40 children saved so far… Within one day’s work. This is what life is about… Doing THIS is a life worth living!!! traffiking is a big issue here, I’m doing what I can, and I will continue to do so as long as life when time permits it.”

Lindsay who is trying to start over again after her drug problems and partying lifestyle says that she wants to move to charity and focus on real issues in the world.

Lindsay Lohan’s mother – Dina Lohan – claims that her daughter and Heath Ledger were in a relationship at the time of his fatal drug overdose in January 2008 and the fact that her daughter has never got over it.

In the leaked phone call recordings between Dina and her ex-husband Michael, Lindsay’s mother says: “Lindsay was dating Heath when he died. I don’t know if you know that, but I know ’cause I would drop her off and they were friends very, very close, ok?”

In the conversation – taped in 2008 – Dina says that many of Lindsay’s personal problems went out of control ever since Heath died.

She also talks about her fears that Lindsay may abuse drugs the same way that Heath did, and the fact that she keeps popping Adderall without thinking.

Lindsay Lohan alleges that her alienated father threatened to kill her mother Dina if she ever dared to walk out on him.

The actress is getting even with her dad Michael Lohan, after he gave the press confidential phone conversations in the hopes of getting her into rehab due to her reported addiction to prescription pills.

She wrote on her twitter page about her parents saying, “She blames herself for staying w/him for so long, I’d beg her not to leave b/c he always threatened to kill her if she did after disappearing, then coming home after being gone for several days while cheating on my mother & abusing substances.”

Her Dad has however denied all of Lindsay’s claims and has even termed it a “bunch of lies”.
