American television personality Lauren Conrad and actor Kyle Howard have parted ways after being together for three years. Close friends of the actress had said that the couple had mutually parted and that there wasn’t any involvement of a third person in their separation.

The 24 year old actress had tried her best to keep her relationship with Howard under covers while she was working in the hit series ‘The Hills’. But later in the year 2009 she had quit the hit show and her relationship was one of the reasons to leave the show.

In the month of January certain rumours had surrounded the actress that she was engaged to the actor, which was later denied by her. In 2010, the actress had announced that she was working on a new series with MTV, which won’t have her boyfriend, who will be concentrating on her Fashion designing career.

Unfortunately, the show was dumped in the month of February as it was scaled as too much for the MTV audience. Conrad then in a statement had said that they had sold the show to MTV, filmed it and are really proud of the final result. Conrad debuted on television at the age of 17 with the show ‘Laguna Beach’.

Laguna Beach’s Lauren Conrad’s newest novel titled “Sweet Little Lies” has gone and landed a place at the top of the New York Times bestseller list.

Lauren’s first book L.A. Candy was about a girl who rises to fame as a reality star and had also topped the bestseller list, thereby displaying the star’s literary capabilities.

According to People, the reality star said: “It’s so gratifying for my second book to be so successful and it was so fun to write! The characters were already developed so I really enjoyed the process so much more this time around. All the characters have become like my friends now.”

Sweet Little Lies was launched only this month and the fact that it has gone ahead and become a bestseller is surely a great achievement for Lauren.
