After six months of struggle, the first runner up of American Idol, Lauren Alaina showed off a fabulous figure at the red carpet. The singer worked out for six months and lost 25 lbs and is now looking much better than before.
Alaina shared her secrets of her weight loss and said that she had reduced her meal sizes which had helped her reduce. Lauren had said that changing her diet was a huge thing to do and that she had to learn the correction of portion control.
Alaina revealed that in the early stages the singer had tried the meal delivery service so that she could focus on increasing her protein intake and reduce the carbohydrate intake. However, despite being successful in reducing her weight and looking fabulous at the red carpet, the singer has said that she aims to reduce 10 more lbs.
Lauren had said that she took white egg omelet for breakfast, vegetables and shrimps for lunch and asparagus and chicken for dinner. Apart from the effective diet plan the singer also worked out at the gym. Lauren is now all set to release her debut album Wildflower after she had lost to Scott McCreery at American Idol. The singer apart from a great figure also has a great career ahead.
