Kalki Koechlin, the French origin actress and girl friend of Director Anurag Kashap is making alot of news on her performance from her latest movie “That Girl in Yellow boots” which is directed by none other than here director boyfriend Anurag Kashap. Her Video which has been leaked out and has of lately been creating alot of hype and rumours all around.

The movie has been written by the duo couple. Naren Chandavarkar and Rajeev Ravi has done the Music and cinematography respectively. The star cast of the film inlcudes Naseeruddin Shah, Prashant Prakash, Gulshan Devaiya, Shivkumar Subramaniam, Divya Jagdale, Kumud Mishra and Kartik Krishnan.

The “Girl in Yellow Boots” depicts the story of a girl named Ruth which is played by Kalki Koechlin. In this movie Kalki Koechlin is in search of her father whom she doesn’t remember much although she has partial memory of him.

Indian movie, ‘That Girl in Yellow Boots,’ has been selected for its screening in the 67th Venice Film Festival. The film is directed by one of the most unconventional directors of Bollywood, Anurag Kashyap whose works include the controversial film ‘Black Friday’, a movie based on bombings in Mumbai, ‘No Smoking’, ‘Dev D’ and ‘Gulaal’.

‘That Girl in Yellow Boots’ is about a girl who is in search of her father, who she barely knows but cannot easily forget what all she remembers of him.

The actors of the movie include, Kalki Koechlin (Dev D fame) in the lead as Ruth alongwith Naseeruddin Shah, Prashant Prakash, Gulshan Devaiya, Shivkumar Subramaniam, Divya Jagdale, Kumud Mishra and Kartik Krishnan amongst others. The movie is co- written by Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin. The music is given by Naren Chandavarkar and the cinematography is by Rajeev Ravi.

The movie will be screened under the ‘Out of Competition’ section in the Venice Film Festival that is scheduled at Venice Lido and will start from September 1, 2010 to September 11, 2010.
