Shahrukh Khan will be joining Johnny Depp and Robert Pattinson at Madame Tussauds. Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s latest wax model was unveiled at Madame Tussauds Museum in Times Square, New York today, August 12, 2010.

Madame Tussauds, Los Angeles too has a wax Shahrukh. The unveiling was be done in a grand manner with Bollywood dancers performing on some songs of his recent film ‘My Name Is Khan’. The movie’s DVD release was also slated along with the unveiling of the statue.

Shahrukh has enlisted himself in the league of ‘50 Most Powerful People’ back in 2008 and has a global fan following. The actor, who has successfully carved a niche for himself since two decades, has shown his potential through varied roles.

Shahrukh who portrayed characters with grey shades, stole hearts of many with romantic roles, performed the macho man acts has hundreds of awards to his credit.

Hollywood actor Johnny Depp has been named “Sexiest Man Alive” by People . This is the second time that Johnny has been honored with this title after having first achieved it back in 2003.

In a statement by People, it said: “At 46, the father of two still reigns as Hollywood’s most irresistible iconoclast; as one-of-a-kind as his beloved 15-year-old boots and as smoldering as his favorite Cuban cigars. He has had women swooning since his days as a teen detective on 21 Jump Street.”

The other heartthrobs on the world famous list included Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, Bradley Cooper, David Beckham, Gilles Marini, Nick Cannon and Chris Daughtry and Robert Downey Jr.

Hugh Jackman was voted Sexiest Man Alive last year and said: “The pressure’s off. I can be a slob again. I thought there were thousands of other guys that deserved it, but it’s been a great year.”

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star is the third man to gain the honor twice, matching heartthrobs George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
