Legendary band ‘The Beatles’ song writer, John Lennon, will be remembered widely on the 9th of October, as it is his birth anniversary. John Lennon would have been 70 today if he ought to be alive, and what a moment it would have been. Lennon was born on the 9th October, 1940, in Liverpool, England. He is remembered by almost every music lover today, as he was an integral part of the great band ‘The Beatles’.

Today remembering him, Google has presented a new Google Doodle in honor of John Lennon. It is indeed a very attractive doodle, and if one clicks on it, it plays on it own into an animation which turns into Lennon’s typical wire rimmed spectacles.

Lennon died on the 8th December, 1980. He was one of the most active members in the Beatles band, and after his death, we feel that there was no one who could replace him. Some of the worlds best renowned artists have said that Lennon was one of the greatest songwriters of the twentieth century.
