Chief fashion designer, John Galliano, has been fired by French fashion house Christian Dior over the racist remarks made by the designer at a pub. It was after a video clip which surfaced over the internet and it depicted Galliano abusing some people at the bar in an anti-Semitic manner.
Sidney Toledano, the CEO of the brand has said, after the revelation of his odious behaviour on the video, Dior will hereby relieve him from job. John has been at the Christian Dior fashion house for more than fifteen years, and such a remark will surely stain his entire career and image in the European society.
The incident too place at a pub in Marais district of Paris, where it was witnessed by the Paris Police that Galliano was hurling anti-Semitic abuses to a couple and they were quite upset over it. As the fight between the people cooled out there were videos already on the web. Disgusted by this behaviour, Dior finally took the step to fire the famous fashion designer from the brand line.
