Actor Jim Carrey has become a grandfather after daughter Jane gave birth to a baby boy on Friday.

Jane Carey has named her first child Jackon Riley Santana, and the baby was was born at 12:28am on Friday in L.A.. Reports say that both mother and child are doing fine and that baby Jackson weighed 7 pounds, 11 oz.

Jim Carrey is known to have posted this on twitter: “Something beautiful is right around the corner! ;^)…… right around the corner! ;^)”. Later on he even put up his new grand-sons picture on Twitter.

Jane Carrey is married to Blood Money’s Alex Santana and this is their first child. Both Jane and Alex are musicians and the baby is bound to become big in the music world.

His partner Jenny McCarthy on the other hand is also looking forward to taking becoming a grandmum at the age of 37!

She told reporters: “I’m soon to be a grandma. So that’s interesting. 37 years old, I get to be called ‘Grandma.’”

Jenny, has a seven-year-old son Evan from a previous relationship, and says that she is going to do all hat she can to be a ravishing grandmother.

Jane Carrey isn’t her biological daughter, but Jenny insists that they share a true mother-daughter attachment.

Jane married her rock star boyfriend Alex Santana in a secret ceremony a few weeks ago.
