American TV network Lifetime has on Wednesday announced that it has approved a series, which is based on the 2010 movie ‘The Client List’. American actress, Jennifer Love Hewitt will be starring in the series.
Apart from starring in the movie, the actress will also be the executive producer of the series through her company Fedora Films production company. The network has also announced that it is currently in the process to develop the first look for the series as well as the movies.
Hewitt will be playing the role of a exploited house wife in Texas, who then takes up a job at a day spa after she is deserted by her husband. But later the woman realizes that the spa offers illicit services.
Lifetime, while talking about the role of the housewife, said that the character tries her best to balance her life as a single, a mother who is financially trapped and also a business woman who works with a group of sexy, rowdy and unpredictable women. The others, who will be co-producing the series include Michael Jeffe, AJ Rinella, Dannielle Thomas, Howard Braunstein and Jordan Budde. The president of Lifetime Network, Nancy Dubuc has said that the new series is an attempt to bring a program, which aims to surprise the audience.
