With a summer that is already full with peoples favorite superstars in concerts, the hometown boy – Eminem and his really too good to be true friend, Jay Z are all set to give the biggest concert of this summer.

Both big boys are going to perform together at the Comercia Park on September 2nd. The duo had announced the future event on Wednesday at the second game of the Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees tie off at Comercia Park.
Eminem and Jay Z who are both supporting their own respective teams and it was during the fourth innings that they made their announcement live on Fox Sports. Both the rappers share some good history together. Eminem had produced and also appeared in the video of “Renegrade” from Jay z’s album “Blueprint”.
The concert which Eminem had announced on Twitter, too will be the biggest concert ever at his hometown, since last which he had performed back in 2005.
The Comercia show will be the only outdoor concert this summer in Detroit, the ticket booking information is not available yet. The announcement of the concert on Wednesday was not the only statement that Eminem had made, his new single – Not Afraid will debut this week at No.1 slot in the billboard hot top 100 singles.

Eminem’s new album “Recovery” is an upbeat collection
. The singer aired the new track “Not Afraid” on satellite radio today.
The song “Despicable” will not be on the “Recovery” album. AP reports, “Eminem mentions Ben Roethlisberger in his latest song: “Despicable. The million-selling rapper refers to the Steelers’ troubled quarterback in explicit lyrics and with the lines, “I’d rather turn this club into a bar room brawl. Get as rowdy as Roethlisberger in a bathroom stall.”
New York Magazine comments, “Well, this was unexpected! On the first single from his new album, Eminem throws his old one under the bus. The exact words: “Let’s be honest, that last Relapse CD was ‘ehh’ / perhaps I ran them accents into the ground / relax I ain’t going back to that now.”
Freep.com says, “The song is a new turn for the controversial Eminem: Over an undecorated beat and with a straightforward vocal timbre, he raps about facing down the demons of substance abuse, meeting his responsibilities as a father, and moving ahead to a brighter life.”
Eminem’s new track “Not Afraid” played on satellite radio today. It’s an upbeat departure from earlier songs. The single is off the new album “Recovery.”
