India has yet again achieved a remarkable feat, as the Indian railways has rolled out its first double decker train, and it is scheduled to run between Howrah and Dhanbad. This train has been built at the Railway Coach Factory, Kapurthala. It is also noticed the whole train is fully air conditioned and will be providing the best comfort to the passengers.

The new train will be having eight coaches and will be completely double decked. It is India’s first double decker train and if it turns out to be a success, then it will be helping the railways in a very strong manner in the future.

The coaches have been designed with the latest technology available, plus the designers have also kept in mind the safety of the passengers if the train is involved in an accident. It’s totally constructed from stainless steel, and can bear speeds up to 180 kmph. It has been reported that the coach will accommodate some 128 passengers, compared to the 72-78 passenger in a normal A/C coach.
