American actress and former fashion model Denise Richards, recently made her first public appearance with her newly adopted daughter Eloise Joni. The actress along with her daughters was seen on Thursday, while she had stepped out of Calabasas in California.

Richards had come to pick up her daughters Sam and Lola along with her daughter Joni, who has been named after the former model’s late mother Joni. Richards had also revealed that she has spoken about her experience with her husband Charlie Sheen with her children.

The actress said that she had a conversation with the children about addiction and had also bought a book to read to them. While talking about he reason she had decided to talk to them about the sensitive issue, she said that she had been lying to them too much due to which the children were getting too confused.

Richards during an interview had said that she tried her best to protect her children from the media coverage, but still her kids would hear things from her friends. After all the haul that was created by Sheen due to his drug and alcohol problem the actor was fired from ‘Two and a Half Men’ in the month of March 2011.

American actress and former fashion model Denise Richards, after separation from Charlie Sheen has adopted a baby girl recently. The news of the adoption was given out by the representative of the actress, who said that the actress has adopted a baby girl and has named her after her mother.

The 40 year old actress has named her Eloise Joni, after her mother who passed away in the year 2007 due to cancer. Denise already has two daughters from her previous marriage with Sheen, 7 year old Sam and 5 year old Lola.

The representative added that Sam and Lola are happy to have their new family member at home. Richards and Sheen were divorced in the year 2006, and had come to a conclusion after a long battle for the custody of their daughters.

Sheen has twin boys from his marriage with Brooke Mueller. The actress is now planning to make a memoir, which will be called as The Real Girl Next Door. Denise added that she will be concentrating only on the best parts of her marriage with Sheen. The actress is known for her role in Scary Movie 3, The World Is Not Enough and Starship Troopers. The actress had also appeared on the reality TV show Denise Richards: Its Complicated.

Actor Charlie Sheen was arrested and jailed on Christmas Eve after an alleged domestic violence incident between the actor and his wife, Brooke Mueller.

According to the reports, Sheen made a visit Colorado to visit Mueller in her new apartment of three months since the two have attempted to work out some personal marital problems. Unfortunaltely rhings turned ugly when the two began arguing and Sheen then reportedly shoving Mueller to the wall.

Sheen was then taken into custody on charges of domestic violence against Mueller on December 25, 2009. Some of the pending charges include felony second-degree assault and menacing, both felonies, along with criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.

The actor was then released from the Pitkin County Jail after posting an $8,500 Bond. He is scheduled to appear in court February 8, 2010.

This is not the first domestic violence case that Charlie Sheen has been involved in. In March 2005, while his then wife Charlie Sheen was still pregnant with their daughter Lola, Richards filed for divorce from Sheen, on the grounds that Sheen threatened Richards with violence.
