The Oriental Bank of Commerce, India’s leading public sector bank has announced vacancies for 200 seats for officers posts.
The Oriental Bank of Commerce is one of the oldest banks in India and is a leading bank in the public sector.
The details of the vacancies are as follows – Post – Officer (Contract Basis), Vacancies – 200.
The important dates to apply are as follows – The candidates who want to apply online can apply from the 5th of July to the 19th of July 2010. The tentative date of screening would be on the 12th of July.
The candidates who wish to apply should be of the age between 21 to 30. The remuneration for the officers post is a fixed amount of Rs. 17000 a month.

Bank of Maharashtra, which is a Government of India undertaken bank, has announced recently vacancies for 650 clerical grade posts. Bank of Maharashtra is one of the leading banks in India, and also one of the oldest ones, which is running under the financial ministry.

Corporation Bank in its latest notification announced that there are 1,250 vacancies for the clerical posts and that those interested and are the residents of India can apply.
The bank will be hiring candidates for PO and SO posts along with the clerical posts.
The candidates who can apply for these posts need to have completed at least 18 years of age and should not be more than 28 years as on 01.06.2010.
The candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 40% marks.
There is relaxation for SC/ST/XS/VH/HI/OH candidates with 35% marks being the minimum.
The knowledge of computer is must for the posts.
The written examination for the same will start from September 12 (date may change).
The candidates can fill online application forms from July 1.

Corporation Bank has announced 1,250 vacancies in clerk posts. It has asked for application from interested candidates residing in India. The corporation declared it in its latest recruitment 2010 notification.
Apart from clerical posts, the bank will also be hiring candidates for PO and SO posts.
The eligibility criteria are that the Candidate should not be below 18 years and above 28 years as on 01.06.2010. Graduate in any discipline is a must with 40% or more marks from a recognize university or its equivalent qualification.
For SC/ST/XS/VH/HI/OH candidates the marks relaxation is a minimum of 35%.
Computer knowledge is essential for the post
