American singer and recording artist Beyonce Knowles , during the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, announced her pregnancy. On Sunday, the singer had appeared with a baby bump while she posed for pictures as she had held her baby bump.

While posing for pictures, the singer said that she had a surprise and later the representative of the singer had confirmed that she was pregnant. Beyonce, at the award function, had performed on the track ‘Love On Top’.

While she sang, she addressed the audience to stand up on their feet and feel the love that is growing inside her. After the song, the singer unbuttoned her jacket and rubbed her stomach, while the audience got the signal.

This is the first child for Beyonce and Jay-Z, who is also excited like a kid. Close friends of the couple had said that the singer is happy about it and is also too excited. Jay-Z, who performed on Otis at the award function and Beyonce are married for three years now. Last year, the singer had said that she will have a baby when she is 30 and the singer has kept her promise. This is the fourth pregnancy for the singer.

Singer Beyonce has been busy with other things besides her Grammy winnning music, and the newest thing is that she has been involved in is the bottle design process of her new fragrance “Heat”.

Beyonce Knowles’ “Heat” has become a success just like her music albums and has reportedly got $3 million in sales in its first month – after being sold at Macy’s.

The “Halo” singer is really happy about this launch as well as its success and told reporters: “I’m so happy with it. I’ve been working on it for a while now. I was on tour for a year, and I have meet-and-greets with fans. I’ve never in my life gotten so many compliments.”

Many celebs have launched their own fragrances in the past like Britney spears, Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton among a host of others.

Hollywood’s musical couple, the husband and wife duo of Beyonce and Jay-Z have topped Forbes’ “Hollywood’s Top-Earning Couples” list for the second time in a row. The couple together brought in an income of $122 million for the period of June of 2008 to June of 2009.

The huge figure is all thanks to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” album and hubby Jay’s “Empire State of Mind”. As of now, Beyonce has earned the major portion of the $122 million — $87 million to be exact.

Hollywood actors Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart came in the second slot and are known to have brought it in $69 million. Forbes attributes the $69 million to Ford’s 2008 blockbuster Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which alone got him $65 million.

Brangelina came in third due to Pitt’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Jolie’s action movies like Wanted and Salt – which is to be released soon.

“Crazy in Love” singer Beyonce and her husband rapper Jay -Z will be adding each others last names to their surnames. The couple got married in 2008 and are all set to add the others suraname to their last name.

Jay-Z – whose real name is Shawn Carter – will be known as Shawn Knowles-Carter and Beyonce will be Beyonce Knowles-Carter.

According to a report in the Daily Star newspaper, a source said: “They want to keep Knowles because Beyonce’s parents didn’t have any sons and they’re keen to keep the name going strong, especially if they don’t produce any children themselves.”
