Justice Ouseley said “The history of the way it [the case] has been dealt with by the Swedish prosecutors would give Mr Assange some basis that he might be acquitted following a trial”. One of Assange’s lawyers stated that his bail amount has already reached the banking system to be processed. Assange has received his bail but will still be staying at the Wandsworth prison for at least one week, as the prosecutors would be receiving a notice of appeal.
