New Lakers forward, Matt Barnes has been arrested for domestic violence charges. Barnes has always proved to be a strong competitor during the game and was able to tackle anyone when the situation demanded him to. But this aggressiveness of his game, did not remain on court, it got a bit involved in his personal life too.

It is his aggression that has made cross the line and has made him land up in jail. Barnes has been accused of domestic violence against a woman that he has been living with. It was a strange instance to note, that both the woman and Barnes had signs of injury when the authorities arrived.

Barnes has defended himself and has stated that he his innocent, he even wrote this on his twitter account. He told the Sacramento Television that he was the one who got assaulted and that he is innocent. The reason the whole situation is so complicated is that both the woman and Barnes have signs of injuries.
