News reports have come in that the Yemeni security forces have arrested three al Qaeda suspects on Wednesday- somewhere in the northwest of the capital, Sanaa.

According to the Internal Ministry, the suspects were wounded and running away after they clashed with government troops on Monday. They were allegedly with an al Qaeda leader for the area called Mohammed Ahmed al-Haunq.

Reports also say that four others people who are accused of assisting the suspects were caught at a hospital in Amran province.

SABA – the national news agency- had reported Monday that two al Qaeda suspects were killed and two others were injured in when terrorists clashed with a Yemeni anti-terrorism unit.
