Some reports that came in from the police officials from the Austrian National Police alleged that actor Russell Crowe, who was having his shoot in the remote mountainous regions of Hahnenkamm, has supposedly died.

According to the gossip that is moving around on the internet, Crowe was shooting for his latest film in the mountains, and then there was an accident which involved him, falling 50 feet from the mountains, as a result of which he died. This is not true at all!

But it is really sad that news of death has easily spread all over the internet. As a matter of fact he alive and well, according to reports. Nothing relating to his death has come up from leading news agencies, so this can be taken as just another sick internet hoax.

One of the close friends of Russell, told the media that, there is some news that is floating around on the net regarding his death, which is indeed not true. Russell Crowe, best known for his performance in the movie Gladiator, is alive and well. This was just some sort of false news that wanted to gain popularity on the web.
