Search engine giant and software intellect Google, has now set a few regulations for the mobile and device operators. Google has laid down certain rules in term of the releases of the Android operating system.

There has been a phenomenal growth of the Android over the past year. The users now have to put up with different versions of the operating system due to the different types of devises in the market.
The classification of the Android devices was made worse by the mobile manufacturers, as they were unwilling to update the devices to the latest version of the operating system. Due to this, the users were forced to use the old version.
Google has now announced that the companies who are seeking early access to Android, must first get an approval from Andy Rubin, Google’s head of Android development. Google’s Android has been lately proven as a success, which provided the handset users an operating system. The operating system had worked well with some of the names like Motorola and Samsung. Search engine giant Google has planned to collaborate with Mastercard Inc. and Citigroup Inc. to develop a technology, which will allow the consumers to make payments for the purchases, by just waving their mobile phones. The mobile phone will have to be just swayed in front of a small reader at the cash counter, which will complete the transaction.

Google has attempted this move to make the payments easier and to also boost the advertising business. The payment system will allow the retailer with more information about their customers, which will in turn help the retailers to offer them discount offers and advertisements.
Currently, the project is under the initial stages, which will allow the holders of Citigroup to pay for the purchases by activating a mobile payment application on their respective mobile phones. In this way the local retailers will get detailed information about the consumers, so that they can offer the customers more discounts in future.
The good thing is that the consumers will not be at any risk for unauthorized transactions, as in case of any such transaction, the card company will be covering the risk. Google is not even expecting any cut in the transaction fees. The new technology will also help the retailer to keep a track of the consumer about their transaction behavior.

Japan may face yet another nuclear disaster after the Hiroshima and Nagasaki fallout, for the radiation levels at the Fukushima nuclear power plant are rising steadily. On Tuesday reports show an explosion has finally damaged the reactor core vessel and another explosion has spewed out a lot of radioactive material into the air.

Prime Minister Naoto Kan has asked the people in the country to remain calm and stable, but also mentioned that radioactive material from the reactor has started to leak out, which could have a high potential risk. As the radioactive plume rises from the plant, the winds are pushing it towards the Pacific ocean and not towards the land or populated areas.
With almost three explosions accounted in the past four days, the Fukushima Nuclear Plant incident is termed as the worst nuclear disaster since Chernobyl. Officials and employees at the plant were having hopes, that as they pump water into the reactor it would cool down, but these hopes are possibly standing nowhere as of now.

Japan witnessed one of the most severe earthquake it has seen in years on Friday, but after the quake the Tokyo Electric Power Co. nuclear power plant has taken more than just normal damage. According to experts the nuclear meltdown could just be hours away and this shall be devastating.

The power plant officials and employees are working through the hours to just cool down the entire system, and bring operations into normality. The plant is undergoing a station blackout which means the reactor core is not receiving enough coolants to keep the rods from over heating, thus this tends to become one of the most serious situation any nuclear power station can be in.
TEPCO will now consider to release some of the radiation to bring down the pressure on the coolant system at the Daiichi and Daini plant. This situation at a nuclear power station has occurred only once in history, at Three Mile Island in the US. If the condition begins to deteriorate the entire plant will be on the verge of seeing a nuclear meltdown, and country will witness its next nuclear catastrophe after the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
