Intoxicated passenger who raised bomb scare jailed

An air passenger, who was on his way from the Middle East to the Heathrow Airport in London has been sentenced to three years of jail. 38 year old James Glen had reportedly caused fake bomb threat on the flight, which was later escorted by military jets.

The judge of the Chelmsford Crown Court has told James that he had created serious inconvenience for the rest of the passengers on board. James, who is a panel beater and car sprayer in Chard Somerset, was in a state of alcohol while in the flight and had told the flight attendant that the person sitting next to him had a gun and had threatened to blow himself up.

After the alarm was raised, the RAF Typhoons were called in and had escorted the Etihad flight to Standsted near Chelmsford. According to James, he had been living in Australia for 18 years and the flight was his first one in 20 years.

Due to this, the person had a fear of flying and was tired. Hence to overcome the fear, James had consumed alcohol and had also taken an anti histamine drug. Further Judge Charles Gratwicke said that any traveler with such intentions will not be spared of imprisonment.

Millions of dead fish found afloat at King Harbour Redondo Beach

Millions of dead fish were found afloat at the King Harbor Marina, Redondo Beach, the sight was shocking to everyone. Authorities have begun investigations into the matter and trying to find what has killed such a large number of fish. Most of the dead fish include sardines and mackerel, and it was a very disheartening sight to see a sheet of dead fish covering the harbour.

Experts near the harbour state, there are dead fish covered all over the harbour and there is a possibility that a red tide could have pushed all fishes towards the shore and thus they might have died due to lack of oxygen.

More and more experts are coming forward with the conclusion that the fishes could have died of lack of oxygen. There could also be a possibility of environmental issues but they have not yet finalized this conclusion.As of now authorities are working to clear out the carcasses of the fish at the harbour.

WordPress.com comes under DDoS attack, China becomes main accused

WordPress.com, a website which serves data and other services to almost 18 million websites around the world came under a huge DDoS attack, and China is said to have been the main source. Security centre’s report, since the past two days almost 98% of the attacks have been originated from China and the rest from Japan and South Korea.

A DDoS or Distributed Denial of Service attack is a cyber attack when the host or hosts flood a particular website or website with multiple Gigabits per second and tens of millions of packets per second. When this takes place the website refuses to login or even open on the internet.

Mullenweg is a Chinese language website and it operates on WordPress, but it is refusing to open even through Baidu, China’s largest search engine. One of the insider reports also suggest this attack had a massive sprawl globally and witnessing its extent it looks clear the attack was politically motivated.

150,000 Gmail accounts wiped out by Google last weekend

150,000 Gmail accounts were wiped out by Google accidentally during the past weekend and it has caused great inconvenience to many of the users who are regularly dealing with the Google based mail client. Many people have complained about their inboxes being completely formatted, wiping out many of their contacts, logos and important mails.

Shooting at Milan International Airport, terminal evacuated

It has been reported, the Milan International Airport in Italy has been evacuated as there was a shooting that took place in one of the terminals. According to a spokesperson of the Milan Airport, she stated, Terminal 1 was completely evacuated due to the shooting, further details were not available for the moment.

The Malpensa Airport is the largest airport in Milan, and it caters thousands of passengers everyday to international destinations around Europe. The shooting incident took place sometime during midday, and a police official who was at the site confirmed the news, but he declined to provide any sort of further details.

The Police officer had shot a person, for the suspect was trying to attack him with a knife. The news regarding this attack spread throughout the airport and it was under alert. According to a local news agency, the man was from a Tunisia and was at the airport to meet his wife.

Sony Officially Wins Against PlayStation 3 Hacker

Sony has officially won against the PlayStation 3 hacker, where he is now subdued from telling or publishing the ways one can crack the PS3 to use pirated discs on the device. This pulls the line on George Hotz, who is better known for jail breaking the iPhone and Sony PlayStation.

American Radio Host Rush Limbaugh Mocks Chinese President Hu Jintao

American conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh, has now come under the fire of many American Asians and American Chinese in US, as he has been accused of mocking the Chinese President Hu Jintao. The radio host had made a very indecent gesture regarding the President on his radio show, where he even called him a “ChiCom dictator”.

The line spoke in context to the visiting Chinese President and created a wave of controversy by Limbaugh goes this way, “He was speaking and they weren’t translating. They normally translate every couple of words, but Hu Jintao was just going, ‘ching chong, ching chong, chong”. The first Chinese American in the congress, Representative David Wu, said this act by Rush is “pathetic childishness.”

Wu says that by such an act he not only ridicules Mr. Hu, but all the Chinese Americans and the 1.3 billion people in China. The representative at the Congress consider this as very childish and immature in nature. Hu is in America to bond better ties with the country, and it is looking that America too is working in that same direction, but distractions as such can prove quite unprofitable for the Americans one day.

Rudolf Elmer a former Swiss Bank employee has handed over the bank’s secrets to Wikileaks, the secrets are account details of more than 2000 account holders of the bank. What is now feared among the people, is this will surely depict something disturbing when published, and a new string of conspiracy will begin.

Rudolf is exactly a former employee of the Julius Baer bank, and has said that there are many business people and politicians who have tried to evade themselves from taxation in their respective countries, by channelling transactions through the Swiss Bank.

The former Julius Baer bank employee had also previously provided Wikileaks with secret information, and this time he wanted to expose the evil of financial transactions which takes place offshore. The conference was taking place at the London Frontline Club, where he handed a CD of the secret documents to Julian Assange. During the conference he stated “I want to let society know how this system works. It’s damaging society”.
