Fake Indian Premiere League’s Player, whose blogs hit the headlines during the IPL’s second season in 2009 has come out in open and exposed himself to a news channel. Anupam Mukherji, on Saturday, August 28, 2010 through ‘Times Now’ has defended himself.

He said, “The entire speculation was created by the media. The stories that I wrote, the nicknames I provided etc were all based on my imagination and research on the Kolkata Knight Riders. Everyone was made to believe that it was an insider. In fact, I had conducted a poll as well in the middle where I asked the readers who they thought the fake IPL player was and maximum votes were given to the option of none of the above.

This certainly showed that everyone had their own idea of the fake IPL player,” he said.
“I don’t think something like this will happen in the near future. I also don’t see myself getting into trouble for the fake IPL blog. It was just a blog, where we post our personal thoughts.”

Mukerji’s hoax blogs looked as if he was someone from the team or someone closely associated with the team.

Virender Sehwag, one of India’s key batsmen has scored a century against New Zealand on Wednesday. His century came at a very good time as India was on a streak of losing another game and exiting the One Day tri-series. India was at 170/4 when Sehwag scored the hundred. But soon Sehwag was out at 110.

Virender Sehwag has always been a key player for India, and is said to be the next reliable batsmen after the great Sachin Tendulkar. Yuvraj once again failed to fire during the match against the Kiwis, as he tried to play a pull shot and got caught out by the New Zealand wicket keeper.

India has to win this match on any condition if it wants to book a place in the finals of the tri series. India till now has not performed to its best in Sri Lanka, but we have to wait and see today’s match, if India can once more do a miracle and place itself in the finals. Chess Grand Master Viswanathan Anand has fallen into the mode of controversy, as there are questions raised about his nationality. Anand was being presented a doctorate in Hyderabad and was stopped from receiving due to the question of his citizenship. The debate is that, whether Anand has an Indian citizenship or Spanish citizenship.

The Indian Congress of Mathematics was presenting Anand with a Honorary Doctorate but then Human Resource Development Ministry raised questions about his citizenship and his Indian Passport. As per his living status, Anand stays in Spain for most of the time of the year. The ICM stated that Anand was unnecessarily pulled into such a controversy.

Kapil Sibal, HRD Minister personally apologized to Anand for the cancellation of the Doctorate. The ICM had organized a function to felicitate him with the Doctorate and it had to cancelled due to this controversy. Mr. Sibal said that the degree will be presented to him whenever Anand is comfortable to receive it.

It has been officially announced that Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren have finally got a divorce. They will be sharing their parenting of their two young children, but nothing more has been said about the world’s number 1 golfer.

Elin and Tiger got officially divorced on Monday, after almost nine months when it was known that Tiger Woods was cheating on his wife. Their divorce took place in Bay County Circuit Court in the Florida Panhandle on Monday. A statement said by one of them says, that we are sad that about our marriage and we wish each other the best in the future.

The couple had got married in the year 2004 and have conceived two children among them. There are no reports of the disclosure of their divorce terms but it is for sure that will be sharing the parenting of their two children.

Kumara Sangakkara, captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team, has accepted and taken the blame of the shameful incident that took place during the last ball of the Monday match with India. He accepted that Suraj Randiv deliberately bowled a no ball to avoid Virender Sehwag from completing his century.

Sangakkara also added saying, that during his cricketing career he too has faced similar incidents. He said that this incident is completely unfortunate and unsavory  for the Sri Lankan team, and the matter is now under the authority if the Sri Lankan Cricket board.

The skipper stated that Sri Lanka wants to keep this incident behind prepare strongly for the forth coming match with New Zealand. The Sri Lankan media had stated that Tillakaratne Dilshan had suggested Randiv to bowl a no-ball to Sehwag. The Sri Lankan Cricket board is now investigating into the matter, and is yet to make an official announcement on the issue.

Strong blow to the Indian team, and specially with the one days going on. India’s hard hitter and strike batsman, Yuvraj Singh has been diagnosed with Dengue fever in Sri Lanka. Yuvraj could have proved a very strong player for the depleted Indian One Day team.

Yuvraj Singh was contacted with sickness in Sri Lanka, as a result he will not be playing for the One Day Internationals. This fever is basically spread by Mosquito bite and it is nothing less than an epidemic.

This disease in not something out of the blue that has struck Yuvraj in Sri Lanka, rather this sickness has already claimed more than 170 people’s lives in the country and is almost a sort of an epidemic there. Yuvraj could have proved to be a backbone for the Indian batting line up. India already has faced a strong defeat against the Kiwi’s in the first ODI, and now with Yuvraj out of the next match it has become more worrisome for India.

It was interesting for the people to see and a shameful moment for the ground authorities at the Dambulla Stadium in Sri Lanka, ahead of the third one day. Dhoni walked along with Dinesh Karthik, when he injured his hand due to an uneven bounce from the pitch.

India will be playing its second match in the One Day Tri-Series at Dambulla on the 16th of August. But then there was a huge commotion over the unevenness and the quality of the pitch ahead of the match on Monday.

Dinesh Kartik is looking very doubtful after he received the hand injury due to the pitch. Indian manager Ranjib Biswal stated that India did find some trouble over the pitch. He said the Ashish Nehra was absent from the practice session today, but no one knows why. He added that the team will be having a practice session again tomorrow, but there will be no briefing to the team tomorrow ahead of the game.

New Zealand looked like it was in a hangover of beating India by a 200 run margin, and still werent over with it, even during today’s match. The whole batting line was blown away by the Sri lankan pacers, which included Lasith Malinga and Angelo Mattews.

The whole team today posed as if they were playing a flop show, as the Sri Lankan bowlers were in command all the time. New Zealand after a hard toil could manage to put up only 192 in 48 overs. This something really bad from a team that showed its mettle against a team like India.

In the limelight was Lasith Malinga, who took the three important wickets in his 10 over spell. He is proving to be a key player for Sri Lanka now. Now it is Sri Lanka’s turn to show what they are made up of, and it is indeed to soon to state if the match is one sided or not. Because batting in the Sri lankan side is tough but they will be playing under lights, thats where the whole twist lies.

Earl Watson and Jennifer Freeman have compromised with each other, after Jennifer had attacked Earl brutally. The couple reconciled to each other, just before Watson had filed for a divorce last week. Watson, who plays for the Indiana pacers, had been hammered by his wife Jennifer, and his marriage was on the verge of going down the line.

Jennifer had attacked Earl brutally on the 1st of August. As per the legal papers which had been filed in court, it states that the couple had an altercation over some suspicious text messages, and as a result Jennifer attacked Earl mercilessly.

Jennifer litrally tried to pull Earls hand and bite him on his body including his chest, at the point of which he started to bleed. The she picked up an iron to hit him, she was looking like person who just wanted to get rid of Earl. But still its a mystery why Earl has patched up with his wife who treated him such a way. Watson’s lawyer only stated that they both have reconciled.
