Shoaib who is a part of a team which has been ravaged with scandals and controversies since it has been in the UK. Barnes has always proved to be a strong competitor during the game and was able to tackle anyone when the situation demanded him to. But this aggressiveness of his game, did not remain on court, it got a bit involved in his personal life too.

It is his aggression that has made cross the line and has made him land up in jail. Barnes has been accused of domestic violence against a woman that he has been living with. It was a strange instance to note, that both the woman and Barnes had signs of injury when the authorities arrived.
