G20 Summit Agrees To Avoid Currency Devaluation, But On A Soft Note

The ongoing G20 summit has agreed on the point that they will avoid currency devaluation, amidst the currency wars on the global stage, but this came on a very soft note. United States and China on the other hand are on the verge of stiffening themselves in this currency war, and it was Barack Obama who was not impressed by this.

Leaders from major economies have agreed that they will suspend any sort of currency devaluation and neutralize trade imbalances. On the other hand China and the US, will be playing an important role in undermining the global economy growth.

In a statement, all the major developing countries have agreed to artificially deflate their currencies, to monitor the growth of their respective economies. But this move has gained very soft response with US not agreeing at all. PM David Cameron feels that the summit has been a success, but major financial sectors are still speculative about it.

President Barack Obama Gets His Hindi Vocabulary Right During His Speech At The Parliament

The US President Barack Obama, seems to have finally got his Hindi vocabulary right during his speech at the Parliament on the 8th Nov. It was an auspicious occasion for the India ministry as they witnessed the President personally speaking for his country and also for the betterment and greatness of India. When he concluded his speech, he narrated ‘Bahut Dhanyavad’ or ‘A lot of Thanks’ to the Indian hospitality that he had received in the nation during his three day visit.

During the speech session, he had mentioned India almost 61 times, which shows that his interest in the country is not only limited to his writings and comments. He also quoted about Mahatma Gandhi about 5 times and for a wonder he pronounced Gandhi in the correct way.

Unlike the previous US Presidents and other delegates he also pronounced the word Pakistan in the correct manner, and not ‘Pack-istan’ which always sounded very strange. He had received at least 25 rounds of applause during his 45 minute speech, which reflects that the Indian ministry did support his views and thoughts. And last but not the least, he said ‘Jai Hind’ at the conclusion, which triggered even more excitement among the people of India. What can now be said is that it was a very a successful visit by the first US Black President to India, and he shall be remembering this one for a long time.
