Dalai Lama to move out of his political role in Tibet

Buddhist religious head, Dalai Lama has said that he shall be moving out from his political role in the government in exile of Tibet. The announcement was made recently by his holiness, and he has decided to hand away his political power and hold to a worth representative.

It was really a shocking decision from the spiritual leader’s side and many had not expected he shall be giving up his power on such a short notice. Dalai Lama has been residing in exile since a long time now, and India has been his refuge. His holiness has been residing in Dharmasala since decades especially after the Tibet episode.

During his speech on Thursday, he made his statement very clear, that he shall pass out amendments to the exile constitution very soon. Lama made a statement saying “reflecting my decision to devolve my formal authority to the elected leader”. From now onwards the Buddhist society shall be looking forward to know who will be given the political power over Tibet.

Prince Andrew in a huge fix, officials call in for his resignation

Utter embarrassment for the Royal Household, as Prince Andrew or the Duke of York has been cornered in a huge fix, one includes having a physical relationship with an underaged prostitute. Recent discoveries show the Price was even involved in a sex scandal in the US and the girl was a 17 year old masseuse.

Prince Andrew has been in a state of controversy for sometime and he is the representative of the Industrial Trade and Investment in the UK. Worse, the Price has already had close relationships with the Royal Families in Tunisia, Libya and Kazakhstan, as per the all the latest controversies.

Later his mysterious relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell spun his entire image in politics all the way around. As of now, to pull Prince Andrew out of his post would be quite inappropriate and this shall create a massive controversy in the country. The Prince on the other hand has made no comments on this issue.

Rebels in Libya facing Gaddafi forces on two fronts

Anti-government rebels in Libya are facing the rage of Gaddafi’s forces on two fronts, as the situation in the region starts to deteriorate. Zawiya a town which is just 50 kms away from the capital Tripoli, was under fierce retaliation from the government forces, plus the rebels were fighting back in a very strict manner.

Zawiya was in flames as the forces rammed through the town to take over it, but later the rebels and government forces were claiming to have control over it. Another city which came under the rage of the government was Ras Lanuf a port city in the North.

More than a dozen of people were killed in the fierce gun battle between the two sides, yet the number of casualties is just a prediction. Muammar Gaddafi on the other hand has plans to replace a group of envoys in the cabinet, as they have turned against him. There were messages given to various media around the world stating all the people and forces within Tripoli are completely supporting Gaddafi and his regime.

Mayor of Christchurch New Zealand Bob Parker praises all rescue workers

Mayor Bob Parker of Christchurch, New Zealand has praised all the rescue workers who had lent their hand and services to help the people after the earthquake struck the city this week. Parker states, the city has made incredible progress after quake struck four days ago, and he lauds all those who have worked in rescuing these people.

Eight countries came forward to help New Zealand counter the aftermath of the earthquake and this is where it was seen all the rescuers worked together to save the people who were stuck, injured or even stranded after the quake.

The death toll has crossed 120 on day four and there are still no signs of the 200 people who were reported to have been missing during the earthquake. It was a really sad picture to see Christchurch, on of the most beautiful cities in New Zealand, to be devastated, but this the violent form of nature and sadly New Zealand had suffer it.

UK warns Gaddafi loyalists defect or face war crimes trail

Officials from UK have warned the loyalists and supporters of Gaddafi, that they should defect their leader and government or face war crimes trail. The Special Administrative Service or SAS is ready to bring back the stranded Britons from Libya and they demand full cooperation from country. A total of 150 Britons are working somewhere in the desert of Libya and now the SAS has taken the full responsibility to bring them out safe.

Libyan officials have said, the foreign embassies in the country will start shutting down and may be as soon as this weekend because of security reasons. The British forces have started to evacuate the Britons, as the first lot will be sent by a UK sponsored chartered flight and the HMS Cumberland shall go back to Benghazi to pick up the rest of the stranded Britons.

As of now the Britons who are in the Libyan desert are on top of the priority list and it is the greatest worry to bring them out safe. Reports show two Royal Air Force helicopters have landed in Malta, and this could be the next stage in airlifting the stranded oil workers from the Sahara.

Libya unrest, Journalists go missing in the nation

Libya’s unrest is taking a huge toll across the nation, and this can be seen as journalists are reported to have gone missing in the country. According to The Committee to Protect Journalists, they are quite concerned for the journalists who are present in violent north African nation, for some have the journalists have not reported back since the unrest began on the 17th February.

Muammar Gaddafi’s son, Saif al-Islam had told the nation via television that, foreign journalists can come into the country and from now on they are not prohibited. But after the announcement this does not seem to be the case, as Gaddafi announced, he would go against everyone who was against him and his government.

Gaddafi also said the Arab media is exaggerating the situation and even called them dogs. Many nations from around the world have criticised the move taken by Gaddafi over his people in the country, calling it utterly inhuman.

Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi having a tough time maintaining authority in the country

Libya’s defiant leader Muammar Gaddafi, who has indirectly raged war against the people of the country, is actually having a tough time to maintain authority in the nation. On the other hand, Barack Obama has criticized Libya and Gaddafi for using force against the people, which has resulted to scores of deaths in the country.

Protesters have now taken full control over the coastal region of the country, and Gaddafi has an intention to use military and aerial force against them. The UN Human Rights Council has taken the decision to look into the matter as soon as possible, for the level of threat against common citizens in the country has increased to a terrifying level.

Libya leader Muammar Gaddafi vows to fight till the last drop of blood

In a very horrifying and a hair raising speech made by Libya’s leader Muammar Gaddafi, he stated, he will be fighting against this revolt till the last drop of blood. During this speech, he stated, he shall order his forces to attack all the protesters wherever they are hiding. In short, according to experts, Gaddafi has declared an indirect war over people of his country.

Gaddafi has asked his supporters to stand against all the people are protesting against his government, and fight till the last drop of blood. The coastal area of Libya has come under the control of protesters and defunct army units, and thus Gaddafi seems have raged a war against them.

In a mind boggling statement by Gaddafi “You men and women who love Gaddafi … get out of your homes and fill the streets, leave your homes and attack them in their lairs.” It this situation is not brought under control Libya will soon turn into a war zone. The UN on the other hand has asked the Libyan government to bring an end to this violence.

Dead bodies of protesters lye on the streets of Tripoli Libya

There were several dead bodies of protesters which were lying on the streets of Tripoli, Libya. The protesters were allegedly shot by the Libyan defence forces who were ordered by the government to take down any sort of anti government activity. After the shootings, Tripoli was a war zone, with people hiding inside their respective homes, as the fear of being shot gripped everyone.

Muammar Gaddafi who had made a short television appearance has confirmed that he his still in the country, and has not left for Venezuela. Gaddafi had ordered the forces to shoot anyone who was seen outside on the streets of Tripoli, and this fear of being killed has gripped every Libyan in the country.

Leaders from across the world have expressed their anger against Gaddafi’s move in his country, especially the way he has ill treated the citizens of Libya. So far 233 people have lost their lives in the fight for the change in government, and this is something that should bring a revolution, this something every Libyan wishes today.

China faces ‘Jasmine Revolution’, pro-democracy protests take place in the country

China is facing a revolt known as the ‘Jasmine Revolution’, where the protesters have gone ahead in a pro-democracy movement. People are demanding for food, housing and jobs in the country, and this was made possible only by the messages spread through social media text messages. The Chinese authorities have now blocked all internet and text messages which have anti government content.

China has followed communism for years and as a result there has always been a huge gap between the rich and poor. Unemployment in prevalent in the country at all times, even though the country is doing quite well in the economical sector.

According to experts, China is currently the largest economy in Asia, and there are still potholes in the country which indicate the country needs to revolutionize some areas. Due to communism, the poor people are facing a harsh time in the country, as food and other day to day product costs have gone up by a huge margin, they are unable to catch up with it. Today the young generation are standing against this attitude of China and hope for a change in the future.
