There are confirmed reports stating that the Pakistan’s spy agency, the ISI, has played an important role in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. The revelation has been done by one of the captured planners, who had been interrogated by the Indian officials on Tuesday. David Headley of the US, too pointed out that the group had radical support from the ISI.

Headley also stated that there were several instances when LeT and the ISI have formally met and discussed matters. The confessions made by Headley were recorded in a 109 page report. India on the other hand claimed that the LeT is responsible for the attacks in Mumbai, which means the group had allegedly made contacts with the Pakistan government spy agency.

He also claimed that ISI is strengthening its militant command to tackle India and carry out attacks. But an ISI spokes person has stated that these claims and confessions made by Headley are completely baseless. ISI has said the same before, but there have been alleged proofs and claims that say that the ISI was thoroughly involved in the 26/11 attacks.

Suresh Kalmadi President of the Indian Olympic Association, will be facing the Group Of Ministers in context to the mess of the Commonwealth Games 2010. Indeed there was no mess during th games but prior to the event there was a tidal wave of flip flops in the process of preparations of the games. The Group of Ministers will be meeting in Delhi on Monday, which will be the first meeting after the end of the mega event.

These ministers will be personally looking in the mess which was caused during the preparations of the games, as the investigations into the matter are already in process. The terms of the officers sent on deputations to the Organizing Committee, too will be increased as, they too should be present during the probe.

Mr. Kalmadi has already stepped into deep waters, as the Prime Minister of India and the Congress President, Sonia Gandhi, already have a sore eye on him. The Officials have said that, the games were staged really well, but the transactions swindle before the games events, needs to be looked into. On the other hand, Delhi Chief Minister, Sheila Dixit has directly blamed Suresh Kalmadi of creating the mess before the Commonwealth Games.

It has been reported that Typhoon Megi will strike the island nation of Philippines very soon on the 18th of October. The forecast show that the storm system will be bringing very heavy rains and will be sustaining the maximum wind speed of 249 kmph. The wind gusts in the region will be higher than expected.

By the time Megi reaches Philippines it should be a category 4 storm, and there would be a very high rate of damage on the coasts. It has been predicted the coast will be hammered by Typhoon Megi, with its massive wind speeds it will be uprooting small trees and shrubs, devastating mobile homes and causing extensive damage to properties near the shore.

The storm surge will be 4-5 meters high and all the low lying areas which are near sea level will be completely submerged underwater, so an evacuation will be needed as soon as possible. There could also be flooding within the island due to the heavy rains carried by the storm system. People near the coasts have been warned by the authorities before hand, as the storm inches closer to the islands.

A book was thrown on the President of America, Barack Obama, during a rally in Philadelphia. It was later known that the book was not thrown at him in an intention to hurt the President. The book was a paper back which fell near the President and later the Secret Service detained the unknown man who threw it, but was released as he posed no threat to the President.

The man told that, he threw the book for he wanted the President to read this book, as he himself had written it. Its really weird if we think over this, if one needed his book to be read by the President, then there are whole lot of ways to do that, and the government of the country would not restrict him from doing that, but this is insane.

In an another incident at the parade, a man named Juan Rodriguez, completely stripped down naked, and streaked in the parade, he was later arrested. He said that he wanted to win the cash prize of $1 million that was mentioned on a website, that whoever streaked in front of the President to promote the site, would win $1 million in cash. The website is owned by billionaire, Alki David.

Afghanistan President, Hamid Karzai has started the urge for peace talks with the Muslim terrorist organization, Taliban. There have been peace talks before but have failed considerably, especially in the period of the 10 years in the war in Afghanistan. The Presidents council has been pushing in for the bid to have peace talks with the insurgents.

A Bus Strike in Chennai on Monday has disrupted the day to day and normal path of life in the city. The Bus Strike has occurred due to a reported tiff between a driver and counselor on Sunday. It has been said that the Ambattur counselor’s Associates had beat up a state transport driver and a conductor.

After the strike went into effect, people who had left for their jobs or their daily chores, were left stranded on bus stops and bus depots around Chennai. Drivers and Conductors belonging to eight depots around Chennai have gone on strike due the inhuman act done by the Ambattur Counselors Associates with the fellow driver and conductor.

The Drivers and Conductors on strike have demanded an arrest of the counselors who have been involved in beating up their fellow driver and conductor, until then there will be no calling off the strike. Normal life was strictly disrupted due to the strike as most of the people in the city of Chennai travel by the public state transport system.

Osama Bin Laden’s latest message has emerged, and in the video he has stated, that the Muslims around world should help the flood victims of Pakistan. The new message surfaced on Saturday on the Islamist website, but a same sort of another message had surfaced on Friday, so there is a confusion over the authenticity of the tapes.

The message says, that there should have been better efforts to help the people who are stricken by the flood, and that help could also have been taken from able Muslim countries like Turkey, the Gulf Countries and Malaysia. He also blamed various Muslim leaders around the world, for not visiting the flood affected region.

Both the messages have the same topic of helping the flood ravaged Pakistan, there were no terrorist or jihadi calls this time. The video was 13 min. and 9 sec. long, which had the photograph of Bin Laden and an audio played from behind with the message in it. In addition to this the video also showed still of flood affected region and victims in Pakistan.

The Ayodhya verdict latest news development has been witnessed, as the verdict has been pronounced by the Allahabad High Court, late afternoon on the 30th September. The three panel judge comprising of Justices D V Sharma, S U Khan and Sudhir Agarwal, have pronounced that the disputed area will be divided into three parts, one will be going Sunni Waqf Board, the other will be for Nirmohi Akhara and the last part will be up for Ram Lalla.

The court divided the disputed area into three parts, which means the title of ownership too is going in the hands of three representatives. The first is Ram Lalla idol site to Ram, Nirmohi Akhara gets Sita Rasoi, the other is Ram Chabutara, and the rest will be going to the Sunni Waqf Board.

Kim Jong Il, leader of North Korea has promoted his son Kim Jong Un, to be the Chairman of Central Military Commission of the Workers’ Party. It has been reported that Kim Jong Il’s health has started to deteriorate recently and that he feels that his succession needs to be secured. Kim Jong Un is the third and the youngest son of leader.

Jimmy Carter, former President of the US, has been hospitalized in a Cleavland hospital. Jimmy Carter was reported to have complained of an upset stomach, when he was on a Delta Airline flight. The former President is said to be spending the night at the hospital, just to make sure about his health.

Mr.Carter has been hospitalized at the Metro Health Hospital in Cleveland, where he has been kept overnight over for observation. Carter was immediately rushed to the hospital after he had complained of a stomach problem during the flight. Mr. Carter’s grand son, Sen. Jason Carter, has told the media that his family understands that Mr. Carter is doing well and that he feels that he will be feeling good enough soon.

Jimmy Carter was a on tour to promote his new book, and he will surely be continuing this tour once he has been discharged from the hospital. For the moment his family has said that he his feeling fine and the hospital really treated him well. The airport deployed its “airport rescue firefighting squad,” a paramedic response team. He said Carter was conscious when he exited the plane.
