The American Idol 2010 show has come to an end and the next American Idol 2010 winner is none other than the hunky Lee DeWyze. Lee DeWyze beat Crystal Bowersox to become the Season 9 American Idol winner.

When asked by Idol host Ryan Seacrest how he felt, DeWyze said, “I don’t know. It’s amazing, thank you, guys, so much … I love you. Crystal, I love you.”

The American Idol finale was star studded with performances from Christina Aguilera, Bret Michaels, The Bee Gees and even Janet Jackson – who was sporting a new haircut.

The previous season American Idol winners were also present – except for David Cook – and so was ex-Idol judge Paula Abdul. They came to bid judge Simon Cowell farewell from American Idol.

The finale also saw the top 12 of this season of American Idol performing a song together.

On May 12th 2010, the American Idol results showed that Michael Lynche would not be proceeding to the next round. He was given a lifeline and was saved from being eliminated from the show five weeks back. Ryan Seacrest had named him as one the most intense contestants on the show. But after his dismissal its only Crystal, Lee and Casey who are left on the top 3.

But keeping this aside, there’s a new question rising on the show, that how old is Bon Jovi? The band came straight out of New Jersey and is been active since 1982 with the music scene. So now this makes Jovi’s band around 28 years old.

After calculating his age, this makes Bon Jovi around 48 years old as he was born in 1962. So all this was happening on his performance at the American Idol. Ryan had commented that he is one of those people who seems ageless, and his looking better than the time he had begun his career.

If anyone was the groups longtime fan, then he must remember the time when the band’s video was on too much popularity on MTV, which include – “Living on a Prayer”, “You Give Love a Bad Name”.
Ryan continued to say that, this band should keep performing like an ageless group as they have already outclassed many other bands of their era.

With a summer that is already full with peoples favorite superstars in concerts, the hometown boy – Eminem and his really too good to be true friend, Jay Z are all set to give the biggest concert of this summer.

Both big boys are going to perform together at the Comercia Park on September 2nd. The duo had announced the future event on Wednesday at the second game of the Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees tie off at Comercia Park.

Eminem and Jay Z who are both supporting their own respective teams and it was during the fourth innings that they made their announcement live on Fox Sports. Both the rappers share some good history together. Eminem had produced and also appeared in the video of “Renegrade” from Jay z’s album “Blueprint”.

The concert which Eminem had announced on Twitter, too will be the biggest concert ever at his hometown, since last which he had performed back in 2005.

The Comercia show will be the only outdoor concert this summer in Detroit, the ticket booking information is not available yet. The announcement of the concert on Wednesday was not the only statement that Eminem had made, his new single – Not Afraid will debut this week at No.1 slot in the billboard hot top 100 singles.

Eminem’s new album “Recovery” is an upbeat collection. The singer aired the new track “Not Afraid” on satellite radio today.

The song “Despicable” will not be on the “Recovery” album.  AP reports, “Eminem mentions Ben Roethlisberger in his latest song: “Despicable. The million-selling rapper refers to the Steelers’ troubled quarterback in explicit lyrics and with the lines, “I’d rather turn this club into a bar room brawl. Get as rowdy as Roethlisberger in a bathroom stall.”

New York Magazine comments, “Well, this was unexpected! On the first single from his new album, Eminem throws his old one under the bus. The exact words: “Let’s be honest, that last Relapse CD was ‘ehh’ / perhaps I ran them accents into the ground / relax I ain’t going back to that now.”

Freep.com says, “The song is a new turn for the controversial Eminem: Over an undecorated beat and with a straightforward vocal timbre, he raps about facing down the demons of substance abuse, meeting his responsibilities as a father, and moving ahead to a brighter life.”

Eminem’s new track “Not Afraid” played on satellite radio today. It’s an upbeat departure from earlier songs. The single is off the new album “Recovery.”

Beyonce Knowles’ “Heat” has become a success just like her music albums and has reportedly got $3 million in sales in its first month – after being sold at Macy’s.

The “Halo” singer is really happy about this launch as well as its success and told reporters: “I’m so happy with it. I’ve been working on it for a while now. I was on tour for a year, and I have meet-and-greets with fans. I’ve never in my life gotten so many compliments.”

Singer Christina Milian has become a mother after she gave birth to a baby girl on Friday. According to her rep, both mother and daughter are doing fine.

Milian and her baby daddy The Dream got married last September, and have named their baby girl Violet.

Violet is the first child of Christina and The Dream. The Dream already has three kids with his ex-wife.

The Dream has already bought his baby a new car. He said : “The baby already has a car, I got a house just for the baby — Christina can’t get in the baby’s car. I’m giving all my attention that I usually give to Christina to the baby, all the flowers I usually give Christina, I’m giving them to the baby.”

According to sources, the sale of tickets for the Dave Matthews Band show will begin on Friday for both of these shows.

Matthews and his band have a huge fan base in South Florida and it is one place they will never miss out when it comes to performing live.

The Dave Matthews Band has been around for over 15 years and has seen the band go through some highs and bad lows since they have formed.

The band has sold millions of records across the world and have even won a Grammy for their music.

According to reports, The Felice Brothers, will open their shows with tickets costing approx. $75 and $40.50.

The American Idol Season 9 judges have already settled on who the top 24 finalists will be this season.

According to reports, currently there are just seven contestants who have been revealed for the American Idol Top 24 Season 9 this far.

The contestants who are known so far are: Didi Benami, Lee DeWyze, Katelyn Epperly, Todrick Hall, Casey James, Aaron Kelly and Michael Lynche. The rest of the American Idol finalists will be announced in the next few days.

The controvery sourrounding contestant Michael Lynche came to halt after judges promoted him to the next round even though his father spoke to the press and went against the rules.

With the next finalists to be announced soon, there a great sense of tension in the American Idol camp.
