Hip Hop Mogul  Sean “P Diddy” Combs is well known for his very expensive birthday parties, but his 40th party celebrations took the cake! He celebrated his birthday in style spending a cool $ 3 million.

He had a Garden of Eden-themed bash at New York’s Plaza Hotel last Thursday and his guests included the who’s who of the Hip Hop world.

P Diddy invited almost 500 people including Jay-Z, Bono, Nelly and Denzel Washington and treated them all to champagne and Ciroc vodka, as well as a silver confetti drop.

The birthday bash included a special performance by the American gospel singer Al Green.
Sources say that the venue was nothing short of amazing with a $30,000 orchid display, a black dance floor and a black chandelier.

P. Diddy formerly Puff Daddy, is one of Hip Hops most famous singer and producer and is estimated to be worth $346 million.

Whitney Houston, one of music’s biggest divas, performed at last night’s American Music Awards.

Unlike most other performance that night, Houston did not indulge in anything flashy or sexually provocative, but she mesmerized the audience in her own strong way with her track I Didn’t Know My Own Strength.

The power in her voice as she sang the new song brought out one clear message – Whitney Houston is back with a bang!!

Houston released her album titled “I Look To You” in September this year and you can see the way this artist has matured over the years.

After the past years, where Whitney has had some really bad times, it is indeed refreshing to see the “Bodyguard” star back in such great form.

Adam Lambert, the singer who shot to fame thanks to the American Idol show, has recently launched his debut album. He performed his new single called “For Your Entertainment” at the 2009 American Music Awards that has shocked the world!

This American Idol runner up made sure that his performance at the 2009 AMA’s would take the world by storm and create a buzz across the globe.

So what was so shocking about his AMA performance?

To start of with, he had a very “dominatrix” sexual theme for his performance coupled with scantily clad male and female dancers as well as sexual poses forming the main visual performance.
To add to it, Lambert had his dancers throwing themselves to his command – in a very sexual manner- and he even ended up kissing one of his male musicians in a supposed impromptu fashion.

Although, his performance has created a buzz on the internet, it has not gone down too well with parents, who have asked for it to be censored.

Jennifer Lopez was performing her new single “Louboutins” when the incident took place.

The singer- actress, famous for her tracks such as “Waiting for Tonight” had her choreography done by renowned choreographers and Napoleon D’umo .
What as astounding about her dance moves was that she used her back up dancers as some sort of stepping stones wherein the dancers bent down and let J.LO made to walk on their backs in a step –like manner.

However, Jennifer Lopez was doing fine and recovered soon after the fall.

Danni Minogue, the little sister of Kylie Minogue, has previously been married (to actor Julian McMahon) and engaged (to racing driver Jacques Villeneuve) but sthis time she says that she’s certain that she has found “the one” in her present boyfriend, model Kris Smith.

When Danni was asked if there is a likelihood of wedding bells anytime soon, she said: “It’s a possibility – watch this space! I never thought I’d be saying this but, yes, I’ve found the guy I want to be with forever. I’d given up on love but then, as a few girlfriends had told me, it’s when you’ve given up looking that you meet that special someone.”

She told Cosmopolitan magazine: “I wouldn’t have even spoken to him on that fateful night had the friend I was with not caught us looking at each other, finally saying, ‘I can’t stand this anymore. I’m going to invite him over.’

Although her relationship with Valentine’s Day co-star Taylor Lautner has been under wraps, Taylor Swift insists she’s not dating anyone, including Lautner. She reveals all in the new InStyle’s December issue and talks about her personal life and her single status.

In an interview with People magazine, she said: “I’ve never thought it was a curse to be single, and at this point in my life, I’m in the mind-set where I choose to be single – like I got to light scented candles and write in my diary and I wouldn’t have time for that if I had a boyfriend right now!”

On the other hand when talking about Lautner, she says: “He and I have gotten really close”.

I saw this wee wifey with the mad hairdo and the bushy eyebrows and said, ‘Hmmm, not really telegenic.’ So, I decided to spruce myself up a bit. When I look in the mirror now, I see this sophisticated lady. I’m still a bit like that wee wifey inside, but more refined in some ways. I think any woman would have done the same. Would you want to look like the Hairy Angel? I don’t think so.”

This “hairy angel” has blossomed into a petite angel with charm. Her wardrobe has gone through a rapid makeover as well, wit the new Susan Boyle experimenting with bold and sexy gowns.

Pop star Rihanna is back again, this time gone blonde and launching her new album “R Rated” .

Rihanna released her new video – ”Russian Roulette”. The 21-year-old “Disturbia” singer who is releasing her fourth album in four years, said that this dark side of the album was the result of expressing all her supressed emotions out in the studio.

Rihanna was assaulted by her then boyfriend Chris Brown in February which resulted in worldwide news as well as Brown being sentenced to five years of probation and 180 days of community labor in August.

While talking about the album, Rihanna said, “Each album is a reflection of who you are at that point in your life” and she also said, “at times” she felt “dark”.

This 13-track album includes a heavy metal collaboration with ex-Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash on “Rockstar 101″ in addition to Justin Timberlake on one track as well.

Robbie Williams came together on stage with Take That in London last night.

The singer looked moved as he stood alongside Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald.

Barlow, who organized the “Children In Need event at the Royal Albert Hall, welcomed Williams on stage by calling him – “an old friend of ours”.

This also happens to be the first time Williams happens to make an appearance with the Take That band.

He later performed ‘Hey Jude’ with the rest of the band, led by Sir Paul McCartney.

The event will be aired on BBC1 next Thursday has already raised £500,000 for Children In Need from the sale of tickets alone.

This Is It, the recent documentary movie of Michael Jackson’s final days, has surprisingly made  more than $200 million worldwide.

This is It was released last month and has already made most of its earnings ($61million) at the US box office.

The movie has made £8.5million in the UK till date  and it’s currently number two on the box office chart in UK.

The movie – about the last concert rehearsals of Michael Jackson – was initially planned for a limited two-week period,but has been extended by the production company  ony Pictures- so that it it can meet the demand by MJ fans.

Michael Jackson  died a few days before his concert in in London in July this year.
