The couple secretly got married in a town in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Rashmi and Nandish are known by their screen names Tapasya and Veer in the popular TV soap ‘Uttaran’.

The two got to know each other on the sets of the daily soap and had courted for a year before they decided to get married. Sandhu had accompanied Rashmi in many of the award functions along with his family.

Metallica in a statement said that this is the first time they will be performing in India. The first concert will be held in New Delhi on the 28th of October 2011, at the F1 Rocks Sector 29 in Gurgaon. The band will be performing on the occasion to celebrate the first Grand Prix race in India.

The second concert will be held in Bangalore in the state of Karnataka on 30th October 2011. The concert will be held at the Bangalore Palace Ground, which will be a part of the Sonisphere Festival. Trujillo had said that it would be interesting for the band to perform in a place, where they had never imagined even in their wildest dreams.
