Lindsay Lohan alleges that her alienated father threatened to kill her mother Dina if she ever dared to walk out on him.

The actress is getting even with her dad Michael Lohan, after he gave the press confidential phone conversations in the hopes of getting her into rehab due to her reported addiction to prescription pills.

She wrote on her twitter page about her parents saying, “She blames herself for staying w/him for so long, I’d beg her not to leave b/c he always threatened to kill her if she did after disappearing, then coming home after being gone for several days while cheating on my mother & abusing substances.”

Her Dad has however denied all of Lindsay’s claims and has even termed it a “bunch of lies”.

Rachel Christie, the current Miss England, has surrendered her crown after being detained on an alleged nightclub assault.

According to reports, Rachel apparently punched Sara Beverley Jones, 24 – who is also Miss Manchester – during a dispute in a nightclub in Manchester.

Rachel, who made news earlier this year as the first black woman to win the crown of Miss England, was one of the favorites for the Miss World 2009 title till her arrest.

She is also a heptathlete and the the niece of former athlete Linford Christie.

The organizers of Miss England released this statement, “Due to the media attention following the allegations against her, Rachel Christie has now decided to withdraw from the Miss World competition and relinquish her Miss England crown. Rachel will concentrate on clearing her name and focus on training for the 2012 Olympics until this case is resolved.”

An investigation is underway to determine the exact sequence of events.

Pop star Rihanna revealed that she is too embarrassed that she fell in love with the kind of person that Chris Brown turned out to be. This revelation came on the “Good Morning America Show” with Diane Sawyer where Rihanna said, “I fell in love with that person. That’s embarrassing,” referring to Chris Brown.

She also said that after trying many times, she finally walked away from the perilous relationship. She even admitted that she had taken a beating at least eight or nine times!

After months of silence since the news of Chris Brown beating her, Rihanna spoke up, so she can be a help to other women who may be at the risk of going back to their abusers out of loneliness.

She hopes to be an inspiration to women across the world, and also said, “It’s completely normal to go back. It’s not right. I learned the hard way, but again, this is what I want people to know”.
