Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima gave birth to her first child on Sunday in a New York hospital. The 28-year-old Victoria’s Secret model and her Serbian basketball player husband Marko Jaric, 31, are proud parents of baby girl Valentina Lima Jaric.

The couple started dating in 2006 and Marko Janic finally asked her to marry him last year. Adriana and Marko got married on Valentine’s Day last year in a private civil ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyo.

Earlier this year, the model spoke of their family plans in an interview saying: ‘I never saw myself being married and having a child. Not because I did not want to. But it’s tough to find somebody.

Lima announced that she was pregnant in May 2009 just a few weeks after her marriage.

The Miss International 2009 pageant will be held at the Sichuan International Tennis Hotel, Chengdu, Sichuan, China on November 28, 2009. This will be the 49th Miss International pageant.

The pageant was previously planned to take place at the The Venetian Macao in Macau on November 7, 2009, but due to certain circumstances, the host committee cancelled it.

There will be 71 contestants participating in this event and the current Miss International Alejandra Andreu of Spain will crown her successor.

Unlike the Miss World 2009 pageant which has 120 contestants, the Miss International pageant is a much smaller pageant and this gives all the contestants a better chance to win a contest, if not the crown.

With the pageant just a few days away, there are a few contestants who have already emerged as favorites for the Miss International 2009 crown – like Miss Venezuela, Miss India, Miss Mexico, Miss Brazil, Miss Philippines, Miss Panama, Miss USA, Miss Canada, Miss Slovak Republic and Miss France.

Kourtney Kardashian celebrated her baby shower with 80 guests in her family’s LA home, which included only close friends and family.

The baby shower started at 12 PM on Saturday afternoon and was hosted by none other than Kourtney’s family- Kourtney’s mom Kris Jenner and sisters Kim, Khloe, Kylie and Kendall.

According to reports, the guests gorged on hand-dipped chocolate-covered strawberries from Berry Elegance in Studio City.

On this occasion, Kourtney gave each of her attendee’s a gift which included a Le Sport Sac bag filled with gifts from We pilates, a bottle of Essie nail polish called “Little Baby Dash”, a handblown glass tea maker and tea set from Primula, a gift card from Sheila Kelly’s S Factor, as well as an expandable bracelet from Alex & Ani.
In addition to this, guests also received a bag of pretzels covered in white chocolate from Berry Elegance.
Kourtney is expecting her first baby next month and was already spotted shopping for post-pregnancy clothes with her pals in Beverley Hills.

America’s Next Top Model won’t be made known to everyone until next week’s finale, but based on people’s opinions, many say that Nicole will probably be crowned the winner.

Since the beginning of this season of America’s Next Top Model, Nicole was everyone’s favorite.

In response to a question (Who in the competition has the best chance of a posts how modeling career?) that was asked to an eliminated contestant  Jennifer, she said: “Three girls that are definitely going to be modeling after the show are Brittany, Erin and Nicole.”

Many people agree that Nicole’s confidence infront of the camera is one of her strong points and could be one of the main points for her winning this contest against competitor Laura.

Tyra Banks is the host of the TV show “America’s Next Top Model’ which is a show that picks out the next big model in America!

Pamela Anderson’s years of experience in grabbing attention helps her in getting her message across – especially when the message is written all over her curvaceous body.

The former Baywatch babe wore a clinging boob tube and a pair of knickers for her a cameo on the catwalk again at designer Richie Rich’s Amuse show.

‘The Seal Hunt Sucks’ was written across her top, and Pamela seemed pleased to be doing her good deed defend the adorable  sea creatures . Sh was also seen while spinning her body at the Toronto show.

She also bumped bums with Richie during her show-stopping role whilst showers of confetti came flowing down on her.

Amy Winehouse appears to be spending more time in the plastic surgery clinic than in rehab.

After getting a boob job which resulted in her moving to  a 32D last month, the singer is now moving to augment another part of her body – her lips.

Photographers clicked pictures of her happily leaving a London doctor’s surgery clinic and she kept pouting away. She was also seen sporting some pencilled-in freckles.

Reports suggest that Amy may be becoming a victim of plastic surgery abuse since she already had a boob job, and now the lip plumping.

Last week, Amy’s modified cleavage came out of her low top while she was posing for photographers.

Mitch Winehouse, the father of Amy, is also known to have said that getting implants has made her look a lot better!

However, not much is known for the reason of this new pouting look that Amy House seems to be sporting.

Khloé Kardashian, the 25-year-old reality star who lost 25 pounds before getting married to her beau Lamar Odom on Sept. 27 says that she has put on 5 pounds lately.

Khloé told reporters, “I stopped my QuickTrim diet for a little bit around the time I met Lamar,” . I was so in love, and I was at my perfect weight, and I didn’t want to do it anymore. Since marriage, I’ve gained about five pounds.”

Hoever, Khloé was quick to say that she is hoping to lose it again, “I am now back on my QuickTrim diet. Lamar’s the candy man, and guess who eats all of the candy with him? So, I can eat the candy as long as I stick to working out and staying on QuickTrim. It feels good to be back on it.”

Be it 5 pounds more or 15 pounds less, Khloé has all the style and attitude to carry it off well.
