Dr. Conrad Murray convicted and found guilty in Michael Jackson case

After six long weeks of trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor has been found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of the veteran singer Michael Jackson. The jury on 8th November had found the doctor guilty of involuntary manslaughter when he had administered the singer with a lethal dose of propofol.

During the conviction, the doctor was seen sitting silently on his seat and was taken out of the court in handcuffs. Many family members of the singer were present at the court when the conviction was announced.

Sister LaToya, parents and brothers Jermaine and Randy were also present at the court room. Murray has been taken in to custody till 29th November till the final sentence.

After the conviction the whole courtroom had erupted including the number of fans outside the court room who had held the posters of ‘guilty’ and ‘killer’. Earlier Murray had broken down in the court room, when he had heard an evidence from an ex-patient. Mother of the singer Katherine Jackson had said that she was overjoyed and even sister LaToya had said that Michael was looking for this for a long time and that she had also felt the presence of her brother in the court room. Murray can face imprisonment up to four years and also cancellation of his medical license.
