After Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, the latest couple to part ways is Zooey Deschanel and her husband Ben Gibbard. Ben and Zooey announced the new of their separation on 2nd November through their mutual publicist.
The representative had confirmed the news on the other hand some of the sources on the condition of anonymity had said that the split was mutual. The reports of the split of the couple come as a shock as since their marriage in the year 2009, there have been no reports of disturbance in their marriage.
The close friends of the couple had said that there is no involvement of a third person in the split. Ben and Zooey had got married near Seattle in Washington in September 2009.
Before marriage Ben has been a fan of Zooey and in an interview he had gushed that he used to get lost while talking to her. Gibbard had expressed that he had seen many of her movies and used to obviously consider her as beautiful. The 31 year old singer had expressed her displeasure over the split and said that it was hard for her being away from Gibbard. Ben is a front man of the indie rock band Death Cab for Cutie.
