After being together for more than 28 years, American –Israeli bassist, singer and musician Gene Simmons got married to his girlfriend Shannon Tweed. The bassist of Kiss band on Saturday tied the knot with his girlfriend at Beverly Hills.
The private wedding ceremony was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel with 400 guests. Some of the guests had included celebrities like Bill Maher, Hugh Hefner and many of the band mates of Kiss.
The wedding was shot as a part of the reality show of the family Gene Simmons Family Jewels. The wedding episodes of the show would start from Tuesday and the final wedding episode is expected to be aired on 18th October.
Simmons had proposed Tweed in one of the episodes of the show earlier. The singer had proposed her in Belize and in one of the episodes he had also told the importance of Tweed in his life. Gene went on to say that Tweed is the only friend he has and that she was the only one he was ever in love with. The musician added that he has never said this ever and meant that he cannot live without her. Gene had proposed Shannon after they had a bad fight earlier in summer.
