American actress and producer Emily Deschanel and her husband David Hornsby on Wednesday became proud parents to a baby boy. The couple has also named their new family member as Henry Hornsby.
The news of the new family member was conveyed by the representative of the actress. Deschanel and David got hitched in the year 2010 and during her pregnancy had maintained a vegan diet.
The actress, who is known for her role of Dr. Temperance in ‘Bones’, had announced her pregnancy in the month of March, 2011. The couple had got married in a private ceremony in Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles.
Emily is a great supporter of animal rights, due to which she had also maintained a vegan diet throughout her pregnancy. The actress has always worked for spreading the message and importance of animal rights. Deschanel had made her debut in a feature film in the year 1994 in It Could Happen To You. The actress was then also noticed for her role in Stephen King’s Rose Red in the year 2002. Emily had also appeared in The Alamo, Cold Mountain and Glory Road. Deschanel was also named as one of the six actresses to watch by interview Magazine in the year 2004.
